The sequel we all been waiting for.
The first game was a very good concept, sequels are often cash grabs but Soda Dungeon 2 is like the original the game is completely free to play, no paying for removing ads, you can save in game money for that and other stuff, they took the first game concept slapped it on paper, then slapped more game mechanics with new ambush advantage, ores (I didnt play the first too much honestly so idk if it was In first) and more. Same dungeon, new monsters, new heroes. Truly the sequel I have been waiting for.

A very very good game
This is like an idle game except you can go as deep into customisation of automation as possible. You can create custom scripts for you characters to perform or you can just let the computer handle it. Soda dungeon 2 allows you to go as in depth as you want or keep it very surface level, and it’s all up to you. There are micro transactions and pop up ads but the ads are very very minimal and understandable. The micro transactions will help you progress faster but are no where near necessary if you don't want to purchase them as you can unlock all the items later on in the game. Played the first game and the fun and feeling never wore away.
This game is a gem of the mobile game genre. The first game is unrivaled as my top 3 favorite games on any platform of all time. While this game is overwhelmingly amazing, it doesn’t have the exact same feel as the original. Now hear me out, you can’t one up perfection, but this game comes close by adding new mechanics that improve the QOL of the game. Many systems are different than the original, although not worse. After playing the 1st game for a while and got repetitive but I was wasn’t expecting a sequel which is better and I’m a huge fan and happy for a second version well done developers for this wonderful gamethe game describer
A suggestion
I've had a lot of fun playing this and I thought of something small that might improve it: Being able to see your fighters Max health so you can work out who and when to heal. Maybe you could add an option which changes between health remaining and out of (eg 10/20).

Great sequel with one gripe. Same as the first.
I loved the first and I love the second but both have the same issue that I find annoying for a “mostly-idle” game:
Progressing through a dungeon requires my phone to be on and the app to be open.
I love setting up a team and having them claw their way through floor after floor (hundreds and thousands of them) but WHY do I need to stare at the screen or set it up on the charger and leave open on the counter for hours?
This is an idle game. There’s no doubt in my mind. It has great mechanics and funny dialog but why it pretends to be a classic rpg I don’t know.
Embrace the idle and let us progress dungeons while offline, even if it’s 1/4 the normal pace and 1/2 the pace with the clock purchase.
For those wondering, it doesn’t ruin the game. It’s just an annoyance that I think could be avoided if the devs wanted it to.Show lessCandyFiend
Still The GREATEST Mobile Game
I raved about the first game and here I am, raving about the second. With the same familiar play structure as the last game, the developers spice it up with new enemies, dungeon locations, characters, weapons and armor, and more! You won’t have to worry about overbearing intrusive ads and you won’t have to pour money into this game to progress. Amazing mobile game, great time waster!
Soda Dungeon 1 was one of my most played mobile games. It was addictive, fun, and it didn’t feel as “cashgrabby” as 95% of other mobile games. I haven’t even gotten that far into this and can already tell it’s a worthy sequel. The gameplay is simple, but rewarding, the visuals look great, and the ads/in-app purchases are very unintrusive.
