Doesn’t support HEIF

This app requires conversion to JPEG to edit EXIF metadata. This is baffling as many (possibly all) of the fields that this app can update exist in HEIF as well.

Ok, but ads are full screen in your face for long periods at times

Not much good for me

I hit two problems pretty quickly: 1. If I tap on an HEIC image (that’s any of my photos!) the app immediately tells me it will need to convert it to JPG. Not sure I want to do that (the app is minimally updated so maybe only works with the older JPG format) 2. The Title field in the app doesn’t seem to pick up the Title field in an image’s metadata. So this app won’t be much use for me sadly as these are the kind of things I wanted to access. N.B. The app also refers to the field Apple label “Caption” as “Description”, for some extra confusion. On the plus side it does at least have a comprehensive Free mode so you can check out if it works for you.

Hello. Thank you for your comprehensive review. What Apple calls "Caption" is usually referred to as "Description" on metadata fields, which is why I kept the more widespread term, but I completely understand how it can be confusing.

It works enough!

It removes metadata. I needed to remove a specific piece of metadata and this app appears to let you do that. Upon saving however I noticed it didn’t remove it. Removing all the metadata works great though. The ad after export is crazy but I understand the need to monetize and it’s placed after you use the features so I don’t have much to complain about.

Keeps crashing

I’ve had this app for literally only 24 hours or less and almost immediately started having problems w it. I give it 2 stars because it does what it says it will do and it makes it easy to upload my photos to multiple apps with titles, keywords, descriptions, etc so that i dont have to type it out each time. BUT. After the first few photos being edited smoothly i encountered an issue where the app just crashes in the middle of editing or even right after i save the image which is super annoying because I then feel like i just wasted time writing out a long description & many keywords all for them to just be deleted. I would definitely like the app a lot more if it would stop crashing….

Great & free

it does what it says it does and it removes all that Apple will let you remove. in case other people didn’t know Apple won’t let you remove absolutely everything so that’s not the developers problem that’s Apple‘s problem…

As for the ads after you download a picture just exit out the app & reenter if u dont wanna pay to get rid of the ads instead of acting like a child in the reviews.

Pretty much useless

There is no ability to add more photos once you’ve first used the app and selected some photos from the photo album.

The + just takes you to the list of photos you’ve already added to the app.

Updates

I like the updates to this app because they actually do something. Not like those fast food apps I have that apparently fix bugs. They probably do, but at least these updates do something new.

Kills Live Photos

Editing is simple, but it removes the Live Photo from the image making just a still image. This does not happen with a competitors app. Hopefully this gets corrected.

Spyware

This app should not collect location information but does missleading spyware

Response from developer

Hello. This app does no such thing. One way to test it is to simply put your phone in airplane mode. You'll see the app works perfectly well whether you're connected to the internet or not.
