  • Nice to have

I’m leading a group of high school grads and it’s nice to have an app to use with them and have the study easily accessible. Sometimes the questions seem a little superficial and feelings based, which I’m not accustomed to with BSF and it’s cumbersome to need to invite each user via email. It would be more streamlined if I could simply share the app via text and each person could accept the invitation that way. I personally hated inputting each persons email, and they hated needing to tell me their email, wait for me to type it in, send the invitation, then wait for them to get into their email, click through and download the app… etc. It could be simpler. Regardless, we are using it and hopefully it won’t be as challenging to create another group when this one is completed

  • Grateful for this app!

Thank you so much for this app. I found myself slipping this summer after BSF ended. I didn’t realize how much BSF was keeping me grounded during the stresses of life. I have appreciated so much having the WordGo app. The content is excellent and offers practical instruction on applying God’s Word to my daily Christian walk. I also like being able to do the study at my own pace. I love the audio option for the notes. I am using the app alone, but I also can see how it would work well with a group. Thanks to this app, I am growing in my relationship with Jesus.

  • Awesome, but could be better

I really am enjoying this app. It’s great for those of us who are usually in BSF groups to use over breaks, but also really accessible to share with others who are not in BSF. My main gripe, and something I think could be easily remedied, is that the weekly teaching needs to work like the audio notes. The audio for the weekly teaching has the entire week strung together in a single recording. There’s no way to keep your progress and hold your place for the next day’s teaching, because every time you come back to it the recording starts again from the beginning of Day1 for the week. The audio notes are laid out correctly IMHO, with just that day’s clip embedded in the study for that day. And also, a side note, I really enjoy this format of a little teaching, a little reading and questions, and a little commentary distributed over each day. It’s so much more digestible and comprehensible. I sort of hope this is the format BSF eventually morphs to, although I know traditions are slow to change.

  • SO FRUSTRATING!

Using this app was SOOOO FRUSTRATING!

For some unknown reason, it doesn’t show all the questions.
As I was working through I noticed the questions were skipping numbers.
It would jump two or three questions at a time.
t did the same thing to my study partner but not every day.
I updated it but that didn’t help.
I deleted then reloaded it - but that didn’t help either.
So, I just deleted it again…….this time for good!!!

  • Lamentations

I love this study. It is the state of our affairs in the world today. But God is faithful through ot all. I am uplifted and was sorrowful before. Now I know God is always faithful
  • Great Bible Study App

My wife has consistently done BSF and spoken highly of it but due to schedules I could never participate. This provides short broken down sections from those same studies.
I appreciate the bite size elements yet it touches on so much to help with retention, understanding, and reaching g people with their preferred learning method whether it is notes, questions, audio, etc

One area I would like to see them improve is retaining the stopping point for the audio. The weekly audio is ~30m and I was interrupted so couldn’t complete on first sitting and when I came back, it was reset to the beginning.

  • Excellent way to study the Bible

This app is an excellent way to start or maintain a habit of regular Bible study.

It’s great for groups or individuals. It has lots of options to accommodate your needs: adjustable time commitments, a variety of study topics, the ability to study alone or with others.

My only suggestion for improvement is to allow someone to “catch up” (do 2 lessons) or “pick up where you left off” rather than defaulting to the lesson assigned for the day by skipping lessons. If I miss a day or a week and come back to it, I don’t want to skip lessons, I want to continue the study in order. Especially when I’m doing it as an individual.

  • Really meaty, tiny inconveniences but WORTH IT

Highly recommend the Ephesians study as your first one!

I REALLLY appreciate this app, you get to choose your timing pace and dig deep into small section of scripture each day. It makes for such a sweet time with Jesus. The questions are SO simple, DEEP and practical. Quick to the heart and the insights are beyond my train of thought and make me excited to glean.

It’s a bit difficult to explain the tiny inconveniences without a visual showing but for me it happens when I type in the box to answer the questions, the page will not move with my typing so I have to stop, scroll and then continue typing to read. It truly IS NOT that big of a deal at all, but I do think a developer could finagle a better way for the page to grow as we type. With this, when reviewing answers we have to scroll through the box as well, if the box would grow with the length we typed then when we are discussing it could be easier to see the entire answer in one views I hope this makes sense! 😆
Getting all our group on the same page on how to navigate discussion together isn’t the easiest but it has produced laughter!

Overall 💯 recommending this app to everyone, once you select a study and do one day I think you’ll be won!

P.S. You are impacting everyone you’ve ever known, You ARE awesome and Jesus loves you and cares for you So deeply. May this season of your life overflow with HEAPS of laughter!

  • Great truths!!

My husband and I are both BSF leaders. He is online and I am in person. We decided to do WordGo together and at first it was difficult to navigate BUT once we got the hang of it it was easy. Thank you BSF for coming up with this app so that we are able to study so much more during the summer. We are doing the study of 1-3 John snd on the first day I had to cry when I learned the truth that John was know as ‘son of thunder’ snd in developing his relationship and focus on Christ he was transformed. I struggle with anger and so it was a great comfort, a great promise and just shows me more and more how our faithful, loving God cares about me!! To God be the glory!!

  • Excellent

What I love most about this form of study is how you learn with multiple avenues. First, you read God’s Word and express your answers on your own. I love the “insight” that you can click on just to see if I’m on the right track. Then there are notes to walk me through the passage I just went through to ensure I’m on track with my thinking. And lastly, there is a “lecture” at the end of the study to explain anything I may have had questions about. This form of study keeps me grounded in Gods Word!
