Started out great but then…
I have been using the product on my garage door for around a year and everything worked fine at the start. The only issue I had was that the auto open function worked so far away that the minimum distance would open my door driving past on a neighbouring street. Slowly the product has become nearly unusable I cannot use satellite or wifi to open my door anymore only Bluetooth works now. There is no support through to app to troubleshoot or fix the issues. DO NOT buy this product.
Also another issue is my wife has never been able to operate the product with her Apple Watch. Very poor quality product and do not recommend.Show lessheonest person

Love the Remootio 3 and app. Needs apple play integration! Being able to open ur gate from a street away in the car would be great.T Roy K
CarPlay Issues
Great app but when phone connected to CarPlay the audio on CarPlay shuts off when app is engaged. Also, pls make a CarPlay app. It’s inconvenient to log in on the phone each time.Doc_sport
Seems broken
Since the most recent update, I cannot connect to any of my device. Not by WiFi or cell or by Bluetooth.Sonett43
Good app, works as expected
A request for the devs: when specifying the length of time to hold relay output , provide a choice of units other than just minutes. Hours would be useful.
Additionally would be nice to have an option to open the relay until a certain time.Gregorio2002
Excellent app, Excellent device
Update ~a year later: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, developers add “Open Until <time>” function!!! I don’t want schedules, and the immediate open is fine for occasional uses, but most of the time when I use Remootio, I want the gate to stay open a while!! Your app won’t do that.

I’ve used this for about a year now to operate my driveway gate, and only have good things to say about it. I now have a second Remootio device that I plan to implement on a garage door. My one suggestion - seems obvious to me, but apparently not to the designers - is that this device should have a feature for “Open now, until <specified time or elapsed time>”. All they offer currently is an automated “Open every <time/date> for <specified period>”. Tedious, and far less useful. Still, this is an outstanding device (assuming you have the technical skill to install it).Show lessAabobl
Recent update causing issues
IOS 17.0.3 iPhone 13 Pro Max
Internet control of the gate intermittently unreachable, yet if the gate is opened via the clicker or via someone else’s Bluetooth or Local WiFi, the app sends open/ close notifications via the internet without issue. Could be a cloud issue or an app issue. Either way, it needs to be fixed.Show lessSemperis Industries
