  • Amazing education content but not user-friendly at all

I’ve never been so frustrated with an app before. I have been on the exact same lesson for multiple days now due to the fact that the app cuts me off every time it needs to hear my voice.

So every time I need to say a phrase, the video starts again and the mic turns off. I don’t have any microphone issues, it’s the app’s timing of recognising my voice.

This has really made my experience so frustrating and I feel like I can’t make any progress learning Japanese because of it. It’s really such a shame because I have enjoyed the couple of lessons and got so much out of them before this issue arose. But now, I cannot use the app at all.

  • The best language learning app for speaking and listening!

If you want to improve your Korean speaking and listening skills then this is the PERFECT app! It’s so fun and engaging you honestly forget you’re studying and yet it’s hands down the best way to practice your speaking and listening! You get to focus on real-life situations with dialogues that simulate what you’d use in reality and hone in on truly improving your pronunciation too which is amazing! I loved this app so much I actually finished the entire Korean course and all the stories in just a few months and am waiting for them to update with new content now - so needless to say, I highly recommend it! 😂👏🏼

  • A refreshing way to learn Japanese. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’d like to start off by saying I really enjoyed this app! no, I’ve only just begun, I’ve absorbed a lot from this. I think the ‘interactions’In this app are great for learning. I’ve been learning Japanese for about 2 1/2 years now, in between casually learning, hiragana and katakana I haven’t really been all that engaged. I’m able to read, both almost fluently, more hiragana than katakana, and I know a few basic phrases. Though I already knew the phrases I feel like I can return them better once I use this app.

My only critique, which I bet everyone mentions, it’s the price. I think that $80 a year is fair, but I do think that for $15 a month this isn’t completely worth it. I’d say I charge a few dollars more than you would every month in a year then just bumping up the price a bunch to try to urge people to spend it on a year.

Other than that I really enjoy this app and I look forward to using it in the future. I don’t have any specific plans on going to Japan or anything like that but I’d hope to someday. I hopefully can get premium because I would like to support this app. TEUIDA team, do your thing!!!

  • A Truly Useful Language Learning App!

As someone who already speaks 3 languages and is using TEUIDA to learn a fourth (Korean in this case), I am truly impressed by this app. Normally, I do not like language learning apps because they are too repetitive and don’t go into the nuances of grammar (yes I am referring to Duolingo). However, this app has the perfect balance of vocabulary and grammar. You can tell the developers really put thought and consideration into the design and lessons. I am a huge fan of their approach of learning to speak from day one and enjoy the bite sized lessons. I have just finished Unit 1 and am shocked by how much I retained so far. I am a working health professional so learning languages is a side hobby for me. I look forward to my 15-20 minutes of learning Korean every day. Yes I could just pay to unlock all the lessons at once but I’m perfectly content to do one a day. Once I have more time to really sit down and self study Korean, I plan to continue to use this app as a supplement to assist my speaking practice. Thank you to the developers and I look forward to your future content!

  • Great app, but technical issues

I have really been enjoying this app, especially since it makes you speak from the get go, and since I learn better from doing, but have been struggling with retention on my journey to learn Korean, I hoped this would be a great app to help me along the way.

That being said, unfortunately the app is no longer working as it should. It does not allow me to speak anymore. It will come up with the prompt for me to speak, but before I can even say anything, the app is acting as if it either didn’t hear me or as if I said the phrase or word incorrectly, so then it loops for me to retry, and this is doing it for ever lesson, every short story, etc. I ended up losing my streak because I could not do a lesson for a day, and I lost out on a key for a short story I unlocked, but could not do. It also re-locked what short stories I had completed and now I have to re-unlock them with keys, but I can’t do them because of the technical issue.

I have reported this issue multiple times through the app, but hoped leaving a review as well would get my concerns brought to the developed in hopes that you can get these issues fixed so I can continue to use the app. Thank you!

  • Wonderful application.

Really good application for learning the language. Because most of the time I am making sure that I say and repeat after what they say. Which is really good. I also appreciate. The review on vocabulary. That's actually quite spectacular. It makes it easier for me to remember. If I'm saying it. Just by looking at it visually. I think visually is stronger than. Anything else? But I'm still learning the Japanese language and I'm also going to learn the Korean language from this application. You guys are super good at everything you're doing. I give you guys. Five stars because you guys are really cool and you know exactly how to teach. The languages. Although it's more focused on conversation. I like it a lot. As I write this message to you guys, I'm at the very beginning. But I will be at the very. Farthest. Thank you very much for letting us learn with you guys. For anyone else reading this. I do recommend this application.

  • Terrible

I’m Korean and can speak basic Korean, but the mic would never pick up on what I was saying. I had to repeat myself five to six times before it would pick up what I was saying even when I know I am saying basic phrases correctly. So annoying and not a good use of time.
  • Your app is half-perfect

Your app is half-perfect for learning Japanese or Korean, but the app has a lot of problems understanding us when we try to repeat the requested sentence (specially in Japanese). This is definitely your app because when I test my pronunciation on another app, I can be perfectly understood.
Maybe you could try to do something about that, because it can be a problem if we want to travel with your help (your lessons).

  • This app is amazing!!

This app is so amazing! I love how it breaks down the words and gives feedback. I find it really awesome that this app allows us to actually use the words we learn in a conversation: this way anyone can become fluent in whatever language you’re learning! Since I chose Korean, I am aiming to at least understand k-dramas without subtitles, and then maybe I could use it in real life!! My dream is to at least go to South Korea on holiday, even live there hopefully. I’m so glad I found this app it will help me a lot 🫶🏼

  • It’s only been a day, but this app is great

I’ve been wanting to learn Japanese for like ever but most apps make you pay I’m just a teenager and I do not work yet or own my own card so even though I might not get to do multiple lessons a Day since I don’t have premium I feel like it’s really worth it still because you get to do one lesson a day and I heard that practicing every day and immersing yourself with a language is very helpful and it’s not only Japanese it’s Korean and I think Spanish I’m not as interested in those languages but if you are go ahead download this app it’s not just textbook either. It’s real life conversations, and situations you’ll be in so I believe you should download it especially if you’re in my boat where you can’t pay in app purchases for more lessons because I think it doesn’t stop you can continue going until you finish the entire app like for example lingo dear I was trying to learn Japanese but you can only do two lessons in that app and then once that’s over and then you have to pay for premium. I understand that teaching others a language is quite difficult but I don’t have that luxury of that type of money, so this app is just amazing
