When you first join the app it gives u an option between beginner, intermediate etc. Though I’m quiet fluent in korean I would’ve liked to improve my pronunciation and vocabulary through this app but unfortunately it only teaches you the basics and doesn’t go much more into deeper korean vocabulary.Show lessSavageWilfDog

I am very happy with the additional practice section makes things much easier to remember. Also I found that the Japanese section is able to understand what I’m saying better. I had a problem where it didn’t matter how perfectly I was saying words it wouldn’t recognise it and now that has been fixed. Such a good app!Show lessMoveshakedrop1990
Amazing app
I personally recommend this app to everyone trying to learn, Japanese or Korean. I am myself is trying to learn Korean and it’s been three days so far and I can remember everything that they’ve taught me so far. But I do have a recommendation, what I think you should do is add a Chinese option, so people who want to go to China, I need to learn Chinese have a chance to do so they understand the basic things are able to do so. I speak English and apparently it’s hard for people who speak English to learn languages like Korean. I’m shocked by how much progress I made, and if you wanna learn Korean or Japanese, you’ll be amazed by yourself as well. I also, recommend this app to people who love K-pop. This app is actually very good , it has helped me learn new words and how to speak a new different language , and it isn’t boring either !adrienneuteru
Too fast
At first I was really learning like how to say hello or thank you or what my name is I even taught my 3 year old sister. But after 2 lessons it started saying to learn how to say way to much at once such as “my job is ___” and then like 11 other things at once which I knew NOTHING about it just gave me flash cards and I didn’t wanna lose my streak either I ended up getting a F I didn’t know anything abt it then come to find out the video AFTER told me how to say job but was still to much I didn’t know and had to learn on my own and in the practice with he flash cards it only gives u one chance and again I didn’t even know how to say any of them besides job now but at the beginning it was perfect then it went too fast trying to get me to say things that I was mostly guessing. It would be a lot better if there was a slower pacing lessons for some people.Show lessLidiabranham_eevee
Premium subscription
Look at first glance this app was really engaging and I was totally excited to learn Korean through speaking it rather than only reading it. The first lesson left a great impression on me. The next day I unlocked the next lesson with a key, (I have not paid for the premium subscription.) and watched an ad to continue to the lesson. But after clicking off the ad and going into the lesson, it always leaves me waiting on a black screen with a loading symbol. I tried again and again each time on different days but it still does not let me start the second lesson. It’s a bit of a shame — and I hope this isn’t only happening because I haven’t paid for the premium subscription. And I would not like to take the chance that the lessons still do not work even after buying the subscription (which is not cheap!). If this was fixed, the app would be perfect.Show lessVinnie.L

Eyy Vinnie! Thank you so much for the thorough feedback. Our app is definitely a work in progress but the problem you're facing is definitely inexcusable! That must be super frustrating.. watching an ad only to not have the content load. We released a new update that should fix the issue, though. The free trial for this app started off really well. It would automatically listen for my responses. But then I got to the unit about asking someone what they are doing tomorrow, and the listening function stopped working. Tried turning off the automatic function. Didn’t work. Restarted the app. Didn’t work. Had a look to see if I needed to update the app - and no. Not sure what has gone wrong or why, which is an absolute shame. Now I’m reluctant to pay for premium. It was one of of the better language learning apps I’ve tried. Hopefully whatever bug it has is resolved soon so I can use the app to get some knowledge of the language before my trip to Sth Korea.Show lessMrsPlodek

Oh no MrsPlodek :'( I'm sorry about this problem. We've had a couple of other iOS users tell us the same thing. It really breaks my heart that even though you enjoyed the app, it's practically ununsable now because of the mic recognition problem. I've notified the dev team already regarding this issue but they haven't been able to replicate it on our end. Please stay tuned. We'll work on solving this ASAP! I love this app, however I still prefer learning with another app.
This app doesn’t teach formal or informal language, which is important since you can’t just talk informal to your friends as it will be seen as rude. This app lacks it, they should teach what formal and informal is earlier on and also teach both. So teaching 안녕하세요 and 안녕 instead of just the formal version.
This app also doesn’t teach Hangeul, so you’ll need to learn that another way. This is not only important so you can learn grammar rules such as patchim or double patchim but also so you know what your pronouncing. You don’t want them thinking that 안 is a whole letter in the alphabet instead of it being made of consonants and syllables. And that 악 is not ak, since patchim applies. This is also important when writing it.
This app is best for pronunciation, but I wish there was more things that you need.
I also think that a section were you learn about Korean handwriting would be useful, write it like how it’s typed it like writing Roman font in English. It takes forever and most people don’t do it. And what you don’t want is people going to Korea and not being able to read anything.Show lessUnpicked Fruit

This app is great!
It’s very efficient compared to other learning apps and I love everything about it- I LOVE how you can practice Korean in a conversation and I find the notifications funny.
My only issue which is sort of a bug is when I want to do something it asks me to watch an ad but sometimes the ads won’t play and the screen freezes. Hopefully you can fix this andShow lessNoixDeez
