Sorta fixed - Login is a nightmare!
Edit - still usually having me do 2 puzzles but that’s way better than 6. Face ID still should be sufficient, and I’d rather have 2FA than the stupid puzzles, but it’s better than before.
Before the last update, I’d have given this app 5 stars. However it’s basically unusable now as every login has 6 puzzles to prove I’m a human. Face ID + 2FA worked fine… we don’t need these very time consuming captchas every single login. I’ll be using the website for now, and will start looking for a new HSA provider for 2025.

Frustrating login - Edit: now fixed
They recently added a puzzle challenge in order to log into your account. You have to match 6 puzzles before it allows you access. It’s time consuming and extremely annoying, reverting to biometric face detection like every other app should be sufficient. It’s a one star app at this point.

Solve six puzzles to prove you are a human…
Note to devs: use password stretching, add login delays for incorrect passwords, lock accounts and/or trigger your captcha only when you have too many attempts, trust your 2FA or use a better version of it. and most importantly have a look at the latest NIST proposal on passwords. One more thing, unless your app includes social networking, captcha shouldn’t even be considered.
