This app decides when to clock me out on its own, and tracks my location all the time. I don’t understand why this app needs to know every where I go when I’m not clocked into a job. Really frustrating to have my phone show me that this app checked my location 31 times in 48 hours while not clocked in.
  • Tracks constantly while off the clock

All settings MUST be set to the most precise sharing, or the app will refuse to clock hours. Most of the core features are locked behind INDIVIDUAL pay walls after the trial. It pings your location every few minutes - even over the weekend!

  • Great app

It’s a good app to use for your business to keep track on time cards and see if your worker are where they are supposed to be at.

  • Constant Tracking

From an employee perspective this app works really well for clocking in and out and makes time clocks simple for multiple job locations etc.
Cons: This app will only run with full permissions and will require you to keep your location constantly running. Even with the app shut down it will continue to monitor and track your locations. This is HUGE RED FLAG for me everyone else I’ve spoken with about it. They say the app doesn’t send your employer your location while clocked out but clearly the app has the ability to see your location at any given time. I understand that apps will do this but those apps are not my employer. This app also tracks all your bio metrics and is a massive invasion of privacy that lets your employer track every little detail about you. There is no reason why this app needs full permission and to run in the background all the time. I have to change my permissions everyday with this app when I clock in and out. The app already has geo fencing capabilities. Also if you don’t clock in and out at the exact minute you loose time. Sorry but this app has been to invasive with privacy and none
Of my fellow co-workers like this app and the how it tracks your every move, including your steps etc.

Thanks for your feedback. Just to clarity we do not track your biometrics. We also do not share your location with your employer outside of your work hours. We require always on permission for the geofencing to work properly and also to be able to continue to run location tracking after you clock in. This is a requirement set by IOS for location to work after you exit the app. Without that permission you would have to keep the app open without existing for the whole day for location tracking to work which would be highly inconvenient for you. We hope that helps in terms of clarifying why this is required. You can also check out our help centre which provides a more detailed explanation.
  • Easier way of time keeping

At first I was afraid it would be hard to use, but I was wrong. Easy to use and navigate, we will never do paper time cards again.
  • How greatWorkyard mobile app is

More convenient sufficient, and less time consuming. This new technology helps workers sign in and sign out in a more sufficient way as far as having to go to a machine Wait in line and then signing her up and with so much new technology at hand, the Workyard app is just brilliant.

We agree waiting in line sucks! Thanks for the review.
