  • Always connecting

    It seems that the app DOESN’T work 9 times out of 10. It definitely doesn’t work when I want it to work. It is always “connecting” and when it is online and I want to see the saved files, it tells me loading failed (very common pop up in this app). I figured files would be stored regardless if the camera is online or not. When I do have access to the videos, a lot of times I can’t view them. I have not tried downloading them because I don’t want to download all videos just to view them. I cannot fast forward and there is no option for video length-they are all 5 minutes (I believe...again: loading failed). I have not been able to use the microphone option at all either.

  • Terrible video quality

    Well, it works ok and that’s about it. You have a choice between SD and HD. I assume by HD, it refers to video above 720p, but recording video in this “HD” setting is lackluster. Nowhere near comparable in quality to other apps like hdminicam which apparently is no longer available.
  • Networking Issues

    The app has issues when connecting to networks other than the hotspot for the device. You won’t be able to use the camera with your home WiFi.

    It’s sad when an IT technician can’t even get your app to work with your device. From what I can tell, your device gets caught in an authentication loop and causes the app to de-sync from the device.

  • Does not work

    They removed another app from the store for my camera and added this app, but it can’t detect my camera anymore...
  • Okay but needs improvement.

    I have several camera that all use an app similar to this one. Overall I’m happy with this product but have noticed a few bugs.

    1. When watching live video the sound will play over the speakers and not the headphones.
    I did find if I unplugged and replugged my headphone jack it would work. But each time I close the camera or app I’d have to do this again.

    2. The alarm play back “files” won’t load. Some will say they have “0” storage on the file, and others will show a file size. For not however it won’t play the video. The only way I’ve been able to record video is if I am manually watching the camera and hit “record”. The Alarm recording is basically useless. I have played around and tested this on 3 camera and they all have the same issue.

    Over all I’m happy with this product, but it does lack what other companies have excelled in.

    I find the privacy concerns to be very concerning. And I would like assurance that those have been fixed in the interest of your customers.

    I would be glad to provide images or videos to show the exact issues I have been having .

  • No sound

    The product had a microphone but you can’t hear sound during playback or download
  • Ugh

    What good is motion detection if it doesn’t send push notifications. The notifications only happen if the app is open and the camera on your phone is open. If I’m already viewing the camera why do I need a notification? I want it to notify me on my phone so I will know to open the app and look at the camera!!

  • Improve the app

    Here are the things that need fixing:

    1. When listening to live stream it does not work with headphones on my iPhone. I have to listen through the phone speakers. This doesn’t work when you don’t want other people to hear. I should be able to wear headphones to listen.

    2. Recordings do not play sound. Fix it so video recordings play sound. I shouldn’t have to download a recording to a computer to hear sound. I need sound in near real time on playback.

    3. When playing a recorded video you are not able to skip forward or backwords. I don’t want to watch a full three minutes on my phone for each recording especially when the stream is on loop. I shouldn’t have to download recordings to a computer to hear sound and skip around to a different portion.

    4. Motion alarms don’t work consistently and seem less reliable if the sound alarm is turned off with only push notifications. I get an initial alarm per day and then none for subsequent motion.

  • Decent app considering but security flaws

    OK like a lot of things these days this is from China as are the cameras that it connects to. All and All does what it is supposed to do. Instructions are minimal you’ll have to figure it out on your own. One thing that’s concerning, you do not have to set up your router to allow the communications through. And when you’re configuring the software even if you’re not on site it’s able to find the camera with your iPhone. The only way this can work is if both the camera and your software are connecting to a third device such as a server someplace. Given that the camera is on 24/7 I would not suggest putting it in a sensitive area such as a bedroom. It’s almost certain that the manufacturer or the coder of the software have unlimited access to recorded video and the video feed.

  • Works good

    I bought the camera that looks like a charger & I got this App, I had Zero trouble, my camera was up and running with in 3 minutes, No complaints here!!!
