Inaccessible, Buggy, Arbitrarily Limited, Frustrating
A real automation platform for iOS/iPadOS works be amazing, and would make using Apple’s devices so much easier for those of us with less considered and accommodated disabilities. Unfortunately, Shortcuts is very far from that. Riddled with bugs, constant exhibiting unexpected behavior, and unable to go a day with demanding I merge “conflicts”that the app’s bugs created to begin with, Shortcuts is a complete mess. If you enjoy 20 “are you sure you want to do the thing you just explicitly, and painstakingly, scripted to be done?” prompts just to have the software change the script you put together out from under you by the next day, you might like this app. And the constant notifications every time anything runs are a massive nuisance. If I want something to run in the background, I want it to run in the background. And don’t even think about syncing your shortcuts between devices if you want anything to work at all. I’m embarrassed for the team behind this product, and frustrated to no end that I’ll inevitably have to go get a Mac and write a native app to get any of this done reliably and consistently.

Great but
I love this app it’s really cute for different aethstetics and really simple to set up a new app style. It’s a good looking icon but there’s one thing I would totally change. I have the iPhone 8 and I think the iOS 16. Something (I can’t remember what it is) but the thing that annoys me is that every single time I open one of these ‘bookmarks’ it comes up with a banner saying successfully opened safari for example and I would like it to come with an option for it to operate like a normal app. Can you please turn the banner off bc it’s really ugly and just makes me unhappy when I see it. Another thing I would like to see is the ability to customise the widgets with whatever we want. I would love that

REALLY GOOD
It’s pretty good but the only problem is when I open the apps I customized it shows shortcuts on the top!! PLEASE REMOVE THIS!!!!!!

Overall it's a great app to help with expanding what you can do with your iPad like how you can make things automatically happen. As an example I have it as when my battery is below 20% it turns on low power mode. It's a great app but some limitations hold it back. As an example some actions like connecting to a hotspot or turning off mobile data it can't do. I really think if apple expanded the things it could do it would be a five star app for me.

enhancement suggestion: adding play sound feature to shortcuts app for pinging airtags.
I would like to recommend adding the functionality to ping an AirTag within a shortcut in the shortcuts app. This ability would greatly enhance the user experience, allowing for easier access to the sound of the AirTag. It would also help if uses prefer to use voice control for pinging the AirTag for quick access. It would offer uses a convenient way to pinging the AirTag, especially when they have AirTags with names like names of products that Siri may not easily recognise. This not only enhances the versatility of the shortcuts app, but it enhances the access to the location of the AirTags when uses might be stressed out. Thank you for considering this valuable addition to your products.
