App is broken
I can’t even get past the first screen on 2 different iPhones. App crashes every time. I wish this would work as the remote finder is the main reason I bought the remote.Moose1851
Total junk
App fails to work with remote every time. Gives “user logged out” error with no option to login in or create an account. There’s a reason Beam remotes are $5 at Walmart. They are trash, so is this app.Mini-Gene
Still needs work
I bought this because of the easy set up with the app as advertised on the package. After several attempts with the app it still didn’t work. So I entered the codes for my Sony tv and sound bar. But I couldn’t get any of the custom buttons to work. Not sure if I’ll end up keeping the remote.Wayne3rd
Does not work
The app will not leave the connection screen. My remote will be connected, will make a noise, and appear as connected in my Bluetooth setting, but the app won’t process beyond the “loading/connection” screen.rose93ash
Gave up on app
I couldn’t get my TCL TV or Klipsch soundbar to work through the app. I gave up and typed in codes the old fashioned way—and now the remote works fine. Disappointed, because the app seemed slick and would have been a nice experience.Marvin K. Mooney
DO NOT BUY!
I bought this remote specifically because of the ability to program it with the app. The remote connects via Bluetooth successfully so I go to the next step. The only thing it says is “Server error. Please try again.” So I tried it again several times with zero success. I know I’m not the only person who has had a bad experience with this company as many other reviews have also noted.Show lessWolfemichael616
Beam App
Beam APP doesn’t work at all. Issues connecting to server errors all the time. Luckily I was able to program manually but unable to customize via app. Definitely can’t recommend it to anyone.abstrax810

Worked then didn’t
Installed the app and it worked as it should for about a month. Somehow it’s now completely unprogrammed and will not connect to the app. I’ve also tried all the manual codes for my devices multiple times and no luck. I’ve deleted the app, reinstalled and the same issue persists. Can Beam just fix the server already. This is complete unprofessionalism and a total bate and switch from reading other reviewers comments. I do not recommend this remote.Show lessFireMedicDad911
Server Error
Like many reviews here, I too have run into the “server error, try again later” message when trying to use the APP. Manual set up with the codes for my dvd/surround and TV work fine. But I’m trying to get it to connect to my Roku and the codes listed for Roku don’t work. Please fix the app! This is the main reason I purchased this remote!Show lessTexaslove87
