Server Error
If you’re going to have an app, maybe just include all the codes and programming on it.
It has been 3 days and the app allows me to connect to the remote, but it won’t program because of a server error.Welfarebum
App not good
Naught the remote because of the claim of easy set up with the app. Downloaded the app and it won’t work, keeps saying system error please try again later. Probably should fix your app or not advertise easy set up with the app.mphdvet
Just does not work
I expected to have to program this universal remote, but bought this one specifically because it was app enabled for setup...man, was I in store for a serious let down. Going on two days of “Server Error” response. Did all the basics, deleted and reinstalled app, re-paired remote, etc... unfortunately zero stars aren’t an option. Remote Works but App doesn’t
I bought this remote and everything is working but trying to utilize the app is a continuous mess. My phone pairs with the remote but every time I try to move past the find your remote screen, I get a server error. I’ve tried on multiple days but always get a server error. So I don’t know if I’m using this remote to full capability. Good idea but bad production.Show lesstheskriz
Beam app review
This is one of the worst apps I have ever tried to use. It is not intuitive and provides no direction on what to do when the step doesn’t work. Which it did not work in almost every case. This should not be this time consuming.wayne055s
Trash
App is trash, doesn’t connect to Bluetooth. Instructions are novice af but does not help problem solve Bluetooth issue. Delete app return remote. Trash the entire project, did y’all even test the bs before putting it out?Gocch856
No functionality
Absolutely no “smart” app to it, as previous reviews stated, it would not work past the very first initial pairing without codes. Frequently loses the remote that is right there, in your hand. For an app that’s centered around the convenience of a smart remote, it’s pointless.Rip off...
Needs Work
I ended up using the old fashioned codes for most of the setup because the app failed to work as advertised. I was only able to set up my tv and Apple TV using the app. The rest I had to use codes. It was handy for setting the special mode buttons (movie, tv, streaming). This is a nice feature which allows you to control your cable box and a sound bar without switching modes. I think it’s possible to set that part up without the app but it was easier without. It’s a great idea but needs some bugs worked out.Show lesstdecker51301
Horrible device/app
The app doesn’t not work. I got my phone connected to it but after doing everything it wouldn’t turn my tv off or on or DO ANYTHING. So I tried to do it manually... there was like 10 codes that I had to enter and not a single one of them worked. Wasted 2 hours of my day. Returning it tomorrow! Nothing works!
Been here for almost 2 hours now, trying to give this remote the benefit of a doubt after reading too many negative reviews. Ok, my headline wasn’t totally accurate....ONE thing works....it connected to my TV, to turn it off/on and turn the volume up/down. Besides that, it doesn’t work. The codes to pair it with my cable box doesn’t work, the manual pairing....well, forget that! I’ve tried all the ways listed for me to try and none work except if I want to turn my tv on/off to look at a black screen, and volume up/down. Will be returning this device and it’s lame excuse for directions tomorrow.
Ps. I really had high hopes after reading the few good reviews, but now that I think about it, they’re probably fake reviews to bring up ratings.Show lessKuluz
