I really didn’t think the app would work but it works incredibly well. I can see my personal info and photo inside the chip.

Only working app so far
I have tried the other competing apps available on the App Store, and this one was the only one which successfully read my passport.

Doesn’t work….at all.
Scanned the image of my passport fine. I followed directions and even used another app to ensure my NFC reader is active on my phone. Running iOS 16.6 - iPhone 13 mini. Have yet to have it read once. Even removed the case on my phone, thinking that had something to do with it. Nada. Zip.
UPDATE - I actually read that someone said to slowly move the phone around. This did work after the third try. So, now it seems I can get it to scan sporadically. But thats something!

We're sorry to hear the reading process did not go smoothly. We are always trying to improve the NFC read process, but there is a (purposely) limited window where a proper NFC connection is possible, and sometimes a weak chip in the document, a cover between the phone and document, or other interferences mean that reading the chip is difficult unless you position the document exactly right.
