Would have been perfect except..

This app was great until the food I ate wasn’t in the data base. It was a special “health” ramen and I had no way of inputting it because you can’t input your own values in the app. Unless I’m missing something?

Scam

I have tried to reset my password at least 5 times. I have paid for a full year and only used the app for a couple of months. And now I can’t get into the app

Short trial period 24 hrs then locked

I am diabetic and I heard lots of good things about SNAQ so I downloaded it on my phone. I was happy with its simple easy to use program, but in the 2nd day it locked its functions. Yep, 24 hrs free usage then it has a pop up asking you to pay for its services. I find it ironic it was the #1 choice for diabetic free tracker but it’s not free. False advertising!

Hi Vdoun, thank you for trying SNAQ. We are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. On the free plan, you can add 5 meals each week and go back 7 days in your logbook. There is no time limit on the free plan. When you decide for a premium membership all plans have a 7 day free trial. During these 7 days you can use all features unlimited. Great app

Great app wish had reporting and more data, bar code reader etc for food. Does a great job helping me with meals and how effects my sugar.

New to this

I was just diagnosed with type 2diabetes yesterday. I’ve recorded a meal and two snacks. Not sure I understand how to operate everything yet, but so far I’m satisfied with it

Finally what I need

I'm newly diagnosed with diabetes and overwhelmed by all the changes I need to make. There are lots of apps that help you track what you eat and lots of apps that let you track your monitor readings. This is the only one I've found that helps connect the one with the other.

Absolutely a great app

I worked software development for decades. This is a superior product. Diabetes landed into life about 2.5 years ago. I found this app a few weeks ago. The app was technically a very well thought out and developed piece of software. As someone with diabetes, it is great! And the product support is just as good. I used their support because of a small ‘glitch’ that didn’t affect the use or performance of the app. I highly recommend this excellent piece of software!

Subscription and will not treat your medical information as confidential

This is a service as a subscription model. The download is a limited free trial. At its cheapest, it’s $4 a month if you subscribe for a year.

The EULA specifically states they own everything you tell the app and will not treat it as confidential. As you are probably going to connect it to you continuous glucose monitor that means it includes your medical information is going to be sold to other companies.

We want to clarify that our privacy policy in section 6 clearly states that we are not selling data to third party companies. As our business model is subscriptions and not selling data, we are not incentivized to do so. The trust people put in the app matters a lot to us and we will not violate that.
