Love that you can “lock it”!
Ensure you back up your entries because oftentimes the app glitches but your work can be restored if it was backed up. I have to uninstall and re-install every other day in order to ‘get back’ past entries (ANNOYING😩) so make sure you have iCloud back-ups enabled!! There are great backgrounds (lined, colors, etc.) for the ‘paper’ you write on, too. My only suggestion would be that the creators would have grids as a choice of backgrounds too.Show lessStringandStickArtist
Awesome note taking app!
Howdy! This app is literally the best. For me it is hard to find a free note taking app that also doesn’t NEED icloud storage (because I often am out) it really helps me because I can just go from the app to another to back to this app and take notes. The only grudge I’d say is there is no zoom in, but is a small thing that isn’t that big of a problem. In my honest opinion, 10/10, do recommend!Show lessAcideStorm

I absolutely love how this app is so simple and cure! You can create many note books and i like how I have to flip pages to get to the page I want - like an actual notebook!
The only two things I wish it had is a button that takes you to the page you want (like page 100) and the ability to use a selection tool and move text around. Still, I love this app!Show lessTessLister
Still the best
Still the easiest app for writing with the pencil and the writing doesn't look all weird like with other apps. Besides the Pages that came with the iPad this is the only one I use. I like being able to make different sized shapes. Makes it easier to make tables, brainstorm and more. Especially journaling.Show lessKimiko2242

This is the best of both worlds — ‘paper’ that you erase without destroying. A pencil that stays perpetually sharp. The ability to highlight things without having to have an assortment of colored markers on hand. The only thing I would like to see is another lined paper option where the lines are further apart. Basic and perfect

A great app!
I love this app for its ease of use but it is by far not a simplistic app. You have all the tools that you need to write, draw, scribble and do all of that so smoothly. The app works seamlessly with the Apple Pencil and for a newbie like me who has always preferred putting pen to paper, I feel like I am still getting that experience here, writing on my iPad. Altogether, not a bad little app. I like that I can create multiple notebooks and customize them with different background colors, and choose either lined, blank, or graph ‘paper’ for each. I don’t like that it can only be used in portrait orientation and that I can’t customize a default brush size and type.Show lessUtahHostage

Needed an app for meetings
I needed an app for notes during online meetings. This free app does everything I wanted. My hand written notes are saved as a pdf I can attach to the project for later reviews and fact checking.
**Update** nearly a year later and I could not work without this app. The only downside (which is a minor issue) is that there is no organization of existing docs.Show lessPinger05
