  • Helpful tips to become mindful about your health and it’s simple!

    Simple is pretty intuitive and helpful for me to become more mindful about my health — from caloric intake, hydration, physical exercise, and understanding more about how the nutrients impact my body. While I’ve always done intermittent fasting, I wasn’t doing it optimally enough to yield the result of weight loss. In fact I was gaining and not eating enough because I wasn’t aware of how much time needed to elapse before the fat burning phase started. Also, Simple helps you to understand the right combination of options and nutrients for my desired result. The app allows me to quickly take a photograph to analyze what’s on my plate and either eliminate or add items to make it a more optimal meal before I take a bite.

    The coaching feature keeps me motivated and sometimes offers recipes to make the meal or snack more interesting for my palate. Even when my days are hectic and I forget to record something, Simple allows me to go back and pick up where I left off. Simple understands and has designed their app to work for people with very full lives to still take bits and quick moments to remain on track. I am far more mindful about my whole body wellness and Simple is affordable. Kudos to those who have started the journey to feeling well and being the best version of yourself. You — we deserve it at any age!

  • Awesome system

    To begin with the most important thing to me was figuring out what foods were healthy choices because I was having a lot of trouble figuring out what was good and what was not so good because all of the information I read was contradictory to each other. I started out strong on the program a few months ago, but due to a medical situation I had to stop fasting for about a month and I had to eat carb heavy foods for a couple of weeks. Now, I am back on the program and I really think that it is something I can do for the rest of my life. Getting back on the program was a little bit harder than starting it, but the AI system encourages baby steps and it counsels you and gives you tips and tricks the whole way through your journey. And I feel much more comfortable with the AI system than I do talking to a person because I have so many questions that if I had a real person, I would feel bad If they were assigned to me because I ask the AI system questions constantly day or night. It even helps me meal plan for my family of six with different dietary needs. I’m even able to tell Avo what I have in my fridge and ask her to give me a recipe for it. The system is much more than a diet or a fasting program. It’s a dietitian, counselor, a coach. Once I lose this weight (because I’m confident that I will. I am receiving the rewards.) I plan to use it to help me LEARN how to maintain my weight as well.

  • Simplicity is key

    Like many out there I suffer from analysis paralysis. Nutrition and the human body are fascinating. However, there is so much conflicting information out there. I have a difficult time committing to a lifestyle/diet that may or may not work for me.
    So far I find the simplicity of the program very helpful! The only changes I have made are the meal versus fasting times and making intentional choices regarding the food and drinks I consume. (For me that means avoiding sugar, not carbohydrates or fiber, and reducing my saturated fats.)
    I appreciate the value of the information provided, but only when I want to review it. And although I understand the psychological technique being used, I feel encouraged by the positive feedback. I find my relationship with food and eating being nourished in a positive direction. Not being berated for missing tracking a meal or fasting times allows me to pick right back up again.
    It’s a bit early to determine how well this program will work for my goals. However, I have already seen some weight reduction, I can feel my body composition, changing, and I feel more energized.
    As far as enhancements to the application are concerned: it would be nice to be able to add protein powder to my morning coffee. Also, to allow me to enter in my dinner meal with a later timestamp for when I expect to complete my meal. Otherwise, I have to go back and edit the timestamp or wait until the end of my meal, which is not always convenient.

  • Would be amazing app for newbies or those who need to lose weight

    I was looking for a replacement Life fasting app that I had been using for the last year and a half. Unfortunately, the app has been discontinued and the paid version no longer works. I liked Life because it wasn’t super bloated with a bunch of functions that I didn’t need (I just IGNORED the social part) and the paid version was super reasonable. The main reason I liked it was because I could set an intermittent fasting schedule, not just go day to day. A lot of apps can do that, but you have to pay for a lot of extra stuff as well. I stumbled across Simple and it is simple 😜 which I like and the AI “Avo” is pretty cool, but has honestly gotten a little annoying. I don’t need to lose weight anymore as I’ve been maintaining what I lost for about a year. This app does more than what I need and for the price, I wish I would have had a free trial first to see if it worked for me. It does allow you to somewhat set a fasting schedule, but it’s a bit cumbersome and I’m not a huge fan. If you are someone who needs help dropping some weight and need some nutrition guidance and want to intermittent fast, this app would be great for you. For me, it’s too much and I’m kind of annoyed that I paid so much. Oh well, live and learn…

  • Awesome App

    Since I’ve been using Simple I have been able to see results . I finally figured out my the problem with staying consistent. Using Simple holds you accountable for your actions, You are what you eat is a factual statement. Once I started using Simple it was easy as breathing I look forward to using and communicating with Avo AI everyday.
    Simple (Avo) keeps me aware of my intake throwout my day and I absolutely love it. It is a very easy app to follow and understand honestly, if we all could just learn to hold ourselves accountable, not just for what we put in our bodies, but for everything throughout life, we can then identify our issues and make positive changes using this app has been a game changer, and I also understand that having a coach that holds you responsible and pushes you helps you to better yourself and stay committed to what we all fall short of, commitment. I hope you all find the results that I have using Simple. For all who still have suspicions, ive used 11 other health apps that just didn’t work for me I’ve lost 4.5 pds in the 1st week and 11pds in 2 wks total. I feel absolutely amazing and proud of myself for this accomplishment. I hope you all have a successful journey using SIMPLE with the assist of AVO!

  • Some suggestions

    First, I would like to say that overall the app is easy and encouraging and not very judgmental when starting the journey. I was super excited to lose 7.6 pounds the first full week, and after doing a little research on what my ideal weight should be, decided to change my goal from 145 to 130. Now the app only shows no loss as my new starting weight is what the current weight was at that time. Well, I guess I have hit a plateau for over a week and a half now with only a half pound to show. Psychologically, this is depressing even though I know better. Meals that were in the beginning rated good or optimal sometimes get a lower rating without a good explanation of why. I feel like I might be whining about this, but our minds control our brains which directs the body…. In my mind I am thinking that it’s just really hard for me to lose this weight. Yes, I am walking better and am able to do more than before because I am eating better. But, I am bothered by what the scale tells me. I am keeping my fasts, and I am not eating sugar… and, I know there must be something that I am doing wrong but when I ask the computer, it just throws whatever articles it can find at me. I need to know more about the science of releasing weight from its cellular storage facilities.

  • Great for fasting

    I’d say this app is OK…it’s great for helping you fast and keep track of it, you can make a flexible fast schedule which I like. I like that you can take a photo of your food and it analyzes it and identifies it. On the other hand, when you try to log certain foods, for example, you put in “zero sugar” it will still say it’s not a good option because it’s high In sugar. As someone that is well aware of what is and what isn’t a healthy balanced diet, it could be frustrating to see it rated as not good. If you try to take a picture of nutritional facts it doesn’t work. So if you were to take a picture of an organic protein bar, it’s not going to know the nutritional facts and assume it’s a candy bar. There are some aspects I think are great and helpful in this app but they need to make some changes. It’s definitely great for those that don’t know much about nutrition, there are little things that will say “you have been logging a lot of meat” for example…and then educate you on the pros and cons. So it’s nice that it doesn’t count calories or nutritional facts…but at the same time, there are times I would rather have that be accounted for. I personally would prefer to find an app that I can do fasting for free rather then pay for this, I don’t find the “coaching” helpful at all. With that said I think it could be helpful for a lot of people. I say it’s worth a shot!

  • The app is working for me!

    I’m the type that needs to enter and log my day. I’ve done intermittent fasting before, a couple years ago, and lost about 30 lbs before a knee surgery. Was doing it with a different app. Like this app better, it’s a little easier and not so many bells and whistles, which is good for me.
    I do get irritated as during my fasting I get notices that ask if, “I’m hungry?” Im not, but it’s irritating that I’m asked that🥴I’ve even told Avo that, but the reply is that he-she is sorry, but the prompt continues. Oh well, I will try not to be aggravated.
    Other than that, the app is working for me. I’ve told friends and family about it. I will continue to use it.
    One last thing, as far as my bathroom scales go, I have only lost about 5 lbs in this last (about) month that I have been doing the intermittent fasting with this app without fail. Wondering if it’s my bathroom scales??? As all my clothes feel way better! Jeans that wouldn’t snap and zip before the fast, snap and zip without any pressure on my tummy👍😃wow! I’m really happy I found the app and have choose to use it daily. Hopefully either my bathroom scales will get a better attitude or I will buy another and see if they can tell a better tell🥴

  • User friendly

    Before simple I struggled to eat consistently during the day then found myself starving at 10pm, then waking up with acid reflux or indigestion. It took me a couple of weeks to get in the swing of things but I just kept logging and not beating myself up. I didn’t even weigh myself for the whole first month till I got the hang of the schedule. I love it now. I never feel bad about eating what I want and notice I feel my best when I’m mixing up the foods I eat. Some days I have optimal healthy days some days good, some days fair. But it’s a healthy balance for mind and body. This app has helped me focus on the process and routine instead of results and it is SO user friendly. Now I’m about 2 months in. I have started weighing myself in the last month, when the app prompts me on my to do list and I am down 8lbs! It has helped me habit build and I am consistently walking the neighborhood each day and love it! I’ve just added some easy strength training this week. I love the daily articles and insights. I don’t read every day but they’re always helpful when I do. If you are looking for user friendly, habit building, “slow and steady wins the race” then this is your app!
