Engaging IF app

So far, this is the most engaging app I’ve used that isn’t too overwhelming but covers all the areas that are important to me (IF timer, movement tracker, food & water tracker, and weight tracker).

I love the AI feature and daily check-in and goals. However, I wish the goals were more customisable. I have noticed that the AI has taken my suggested goals into consideration, but only if I select “More actions” — and then, it’s only as a little text bubble as opposed to the large, interactive icons.

Other than that, I think this app lives up to its name, “Simple”. If you feel overwhelmed by calorie counting or macronutrient breakdown, the food tracker/analysis breaks down the food in a simple to understand rating system. I don’t know how reliable or engaging it would be for the avid nutritionist, but for someone who wants something simple, it’s perfect. I also love how positive the coach is - this positive/strengths-based approach is great for combating any food-related shame I would have had if it was a different approach. I feel like this app was thought out and informed by experts.

Helpful tools

I find the app very helpful to me. Reminds me of the need to actively participate in my own weight loss journey. Simple adjusts my day accordingly with workouts, fasting, and general well being. The interaction with the AI coach is very helpful to me as I’m a chronic complex migraine with neurological signs and symptoms. The app actually recognizes when I input if I’m having an and adjusts my activity and actions accordingly. That alone helps me to stick to my regimen but maybe change my daily schedule of activities to take care of my health but jump right back in when I am able to the one suggestion that I would like to see is an accurate way to document the time with the included workouts to get automatically with a push of button be able to document that movement instead of having to write down the workout and how many minutes it took. I’d like to see a way to incorporate my Fitbit details into simple. I would also like to interval training incorporated into the app. I have balance issues because of migraine and I will often walk and or jog in place. Slow for 2 minutes then faster and harder for 20 seconds. I try to get at least 30 minutes of fat burning activity on my fit but a day. That adds to my weight loss and get healthy again journey. Definitely a wonderful app. I now have my daughter doing it with me. Thank simple!!!!

Supportive IF app

Like many I’ve got to a point where I’m fed up of nothing fitting, and looking rubbish in photos. Cue hunting for a million and one ways to shift weight! Stumbled upon Simple and thought why not, it’s an approach I’ve not followed so let’s give it a go. Having previously used an app with AI generated content I must admit I was HUGELY sceptical, but the AVO Coach is actually really helpful. Any time I think of a question about something I’m unsure of or if I want to know more information or get ideas, I can ask AVO and there’s an answer immediately and it makes sense and isn’t misleading. The only time it can go awry is scanning food to track, it often underestimates weights, but you can edit entries so it saves time listing every ingredient. I also like the reminders to drink or log movement and the dashboard is easy to navigate as well. Coupled with useful articles and true/false myth busting questions this app definitely packs a punch! I just wish I’d extended beyond the 3 months as I was offered a deal and I can wholly say I will be using this app for some time based on my experience so far.

I am having difficulty navigating the site and logging food and fasting periods

Avo is fast and friendly AI Here are my comments for improvement 1. I keep being asked to start fasting. Shouldn’t it happen automatically from the time of the last meal 2. I thought volume of food was an important part of loosing weight so where do we log the volumes of food that we eat Thanks Mike

Agreed to refund then never refunded

God awful app. Tried it didn’t work for me a lot of contradictory info on the app itself which was more then frustrating. Cancelled and then they took 6months value out, I contacted support and quickly removed my card from PayPal support said they would refund but never did. Awful app keeps switching notifications back on just to jam how scammy it is. There are plenty of free options out there don’t waste your money or give them payment details.

No Noise

I’ve only been using the app for a few days. But it is very annoying when doing the exercises, the countdown doesn’t make a beep/noise to let you know to wait/start the next step. I only use my phone so I’m having to hold it and look at the screen and hope I don’t hit my head with my phone. Very awkward.
Avo said that there is no noise because it makes a “focused and calming environment”. But that’s not my case, it’s making it stressful and irritating for me.

A great tool for weight loss.

I have been doing this for roughly two weeks now, I have lost 5kgs and I can’t believe it has happened so quickly, I don’t find it a struggle, the app is so easy to use and so encouraging, giving so much support, it is not over the top, and you just want to do your best, l love the food scanner, so easy to record your meal, literally seconds, also great suggestions provided for meal ideas.
A very positive 5 stars from me, you must give it a go.
A total life saver, literally.

Even with my busy life schedule, this is useful, fun, interesting and encouraging!!

Simple Success

I started using Simple in January, I’ve found that pretty much every aspect of the app has been outstanding and helped me to succeed. I signed up to ‘Premium’ for 3 months to help me lose weight and feel healthier as a result, I’m in month 10 now and 4 stone lighter.
Features I love: - Targets for movement (actively moving) - Targets for Hydration (all fluids) - Record the above including the type of activity, duration of activity and also my water intake - The analysis of meals without guilt - Avo, the best AI help I’ve seen, genuinely makes you feel like you have someone in your corner to assist - The articles, love them or leave them they are insightful - Weight tracker - The progress reports - Most of all the intuitive Fast Tracker As a result I’m 4 stones (30kg) lighter, healthier and don’t feel like I’m on a strict diet It’s more than just intermittent fasting… but it’s also ‘Simple’ and most importantly it’s successful 🌟☺️
