Looking for interoperability

Like the X3. App has very basic functions. I would like to see data sharing across some platform like other health apps have so I can centralize my performance and data. Consider iWatch application also as this would be a big help. Interaction with Apple health or other platforms is really key so that workout data can be better recorded and tracked.

Hopefully these are ideas that can happen as I see this as a big plus for fitness based apps and systems. Thanks.

Lite, functional, intuitive

This app continues to get better and better without being bulky.

Question: on pull day, can you offer a “split deadlift” (“kickstand deadlift”) format similar to the split squat option on push day?

Nice Concept, still needs some work

PROS
-I love I can indicate what band color I used. I have to manually input this other apps.

-I like the ability to distinguish between full reps and partial reps, although it is difficult to remember sometimes.

-I like that it has the standard X3 workouts pre-programmed with the ability to customize later.

CONS

-Would be nice if the workouts were labeled “Push Day” and “Pull Day” like in the workout plan so I can easily recognize my workout for the day. I often forget which is what with just having it labeled “Workout 1” and “Workout 2”

-I was enthusiastically hoping that the reason it asks for height, band color, and full/partial reps is so it could provide a general range of pounds lifted…. But no. There’s just a chart at the end with no numbers. That was disappointing.

-Like other users, I accidentally deleted my session due to accidentally hitting the back button. A pop-up confirming if the user would like to exit and delete all data would prevent this.

-Would be nice to place a Rest button at the bottom of the workout screen to account or rest.

I will still use this along with another workout app in hopes that the aforementioned issues would be resolved.

Great app for X3 users but could use a Health Kit integration

If you have an X3 bar, you need this app. The one thing it could use is an Apple HealthKit integration because having to add in workout data manually to Apple Health is a pain. Otherwise, it’s really good to keep you on tack for your fitness goals!

Crashes when viewing past workouts

The app crashes when viewing my past workouts. Every time. I think I need to export my data and delete the app to reset my data file.
There is no option to export data.
The “finish workout” button is easy to misclick when logging my workout data. It should be at the bottom of the screen, not in the middle.
On the bright side, the app is designed intuitively and has the workout videos readily accessible.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! We've released a patch that addresses multiple crashing issues. Let us know if that fixes it for you.  We don't yet support exporting/backing up your data, but this is a feature we intend to build. Look for it soon!

Would be more helpful if we could add different color bands

I am certain I am not the only one who uses different color bands. It would be nice to be able to add a different color to the app.

Crashing when reviewing progress!

Reviewing progress was the best part of the app, now it constantly crashes when selecting individual workouts or exercises. Please fix!

Crashes after hitting “finish workout.”

Otherwise does the job

Getting there

The most recent update has the text fields working exactly as they should—the previous session’s reps appear as placeholder text, with no need to clear it manually to avoid accidentally inputting thousands of reps. This is awesome. Not having to scroll all the way to the bottom of the history view to reach the back button is also a nice change.

I would still like to see a confirmation message or other mechanism to avoid accidentally deleting a session before finishing it. On occasion, I still have to try and remember what I put in for a couple exercises because I accidentally tapped “Back” instead of “Finish Workout”.

Thanks for the feedback! We've implemented a change so that all the rep fields are now empty at the beginning of each workout! Let us know what you think!

Updated version not good.

**Updated review**

I want to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the updates made by the developer. I did not expect my voice to be heard. They fixed all of my issues and I am happy to say I am once again using this app as my daily tracker. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Original review

The original version was simple but got the job done. Since the update, when I select a new workout it does not record the reps from the previous workout. Without this, I essentially feel like I’m going into a workout just winging it. Without goals, how are you supposed to make progress. Definitely don’t have time to be switching back and forth between old and current workout. This is a deal breaker for me. Will be looking to use a different app or move back to my paper journal unless they bring this back.

We've just pushed a new update that adds your rep counts from the previous exercise as hint text! Check it out and let us know what you think!
