Limited functionality

Really appreciate the privacy aspect of this app.My only complaint is that I wish you could add/track additional symptoms as I find them quite limited.

Great app but wish it was customisable

I love this app and it’s been the best one I’ve used so far. I wish we could customise the symptoms and emotions to other things that we personally experience though.

More tracking options please!

This would be my go-to if there was an option to track taking the birth control pill late. For now there’s only “taken,” “missed,” and “double dose.” I like to track the days that I’m late to get a better picture on the pill’s effectiveness and how that can affect my hormones and when my next period is coming. There’s also always room for more symptoms to track, maybe related to sleep and energy levels, but all the necessary basics are there. Also, I feel the app could benefit from an interface similar to Clue where all the trackable symptoms are presented on a slider that you can scroll through, versus having to open the “Contraception” menu every day to track my pill usage. Just to save some unnecessary tapping. Otherwise I love how privacy oriented the app is, if I didn’t live in California where abortion and contraception are relatively protected this would probably be my only app. Right now I’m using it with Clue.

Please for the love of moon cycles everywhere, please fix this bug.

Could you please fix the glitch that doesn’t recalculate cycle length?

The cycle tracker is way off. And even though the last four cycles have begun at the same interval of time, it’s still off by a week due to a fluke cycle that began early. And every cycle before the fluke also began at the same interval of time as the cycles after the fluke. I thought that after a few cycles it would recalculate to accurately reflect what the new data is showing, but it hasn’t and I don’t think it ever will.

I really like this app, but the fact that it’s an entire week off makes it unusable for me. If I can’t track my cycle accurately, then why would I continue to use this app? Please for the love of moon cycles everywhere, please fix this bug. I don’t want to have to find yet another app after fleeing from clue.

Thank you!

Please read: Critical flaw

Euki: We love you because our health data is important to us. That’s why we track it. And why we value its privacy.

For that reason, it’s upsetting to learn that, when users update their phones, years of Euki data gets lost. Without warning we discover: Euki does not allow us to port our personal information to our new hardware.

What good is data security if it’s so tight that users can’t keep/access their own information? At the very least, Euki should do the ethical thing: warn users upfront that they cannot keep their data when they move to a new phone.

Losing this data wouldn’t matter so much to me if I were tracking periods month-to-month in my twenties. But older women like me need to keep our data over time so we can track things like the onset of peri/menopause. Please don’t discriminate against us — everyone else already does :(.

Hi, Thank you so much for your feedback about how we communicate what local data storage means, i.e. data only stored on your phone and not on a cloud. We hear you. Your feedback is helpful in how we can better communicate what local data storage means in a way that feels more informative and upfront. We also hear you and are working on a solution to securely export and import data from old devices to new devices without risking security breaches for users. Thank you again! Euki Team

Great app

I'm so glad this app offers more privacy than others; however, it's lacking in the amount of items to track. Many other apps have options like insomnia, diarrhea/constipation, perineum pain, type of protection used during sexual activity, etc. I would appreciate if the developers could add a more comprehensive list of tracked items.

(P.S. Please excuse me if any of this is rambling; it's quite late as I'm writing this.)

Unfortunately lots of room for improvement

This app seemed great when I first started using it. It had a fairly elegant design and plenty of options for symptoms, equipment, and procedures to track that relate to menstrual and sexual health. Unfortunately, I experienced the same problems as other reviewers: random events or products being tracked when I hadn’t entered them myself. A “contraceptive shot” tracker was added to every day on which I’d logged something, and the number and kind of product used was altered as well. This glitch combined with how finicky it is to tap through and edit your calendar makes deleting and adjusting the log almost impossible, and if I can’t rely on the information I enter into the app to remain accurate, then what’s the point? Privacy is great, privacy is important, privacy is essential—but so is accuracy, and one without the other is useless. At this point in time the glitches make this app useless.

Hi, We are so sorry to hear that the bug in our last update impacted your use so much. We just released an update in 1.6.3 to fix this issue. Thank you for your patience while we worked to fix this. Do not hesitate to reach out to us directly if you have more issues.

Adding items I never logged

I used this app to track my period. Just wanted something simple and private and this app worked well….Until it updated and added several items I didn’t use (contraceptive shot, reusable pads; menstrual cups etc) to EVERY single day I’ve logged something. There isn’t an easy way to remove all these items and sometimes when you attempt to, the app just glitches and closes out. I shouldn’t have to worry about updates making an app worse.

Hi, We are so sorry to hear about your experience with the bug, we are actively working to fix it. We did just add the Shot as a contraceptive method option to track and unfortunately there was a bug for many iOS users that added this method to their previously tracked days. We are aware of the bug but would appreciate if you could complete our Bug Report on the website www.eukiapp.org so we have the best understanding of all the issues to address. Thank you, Euki Support Team

Too many glitches

Since the new update, all of my previous saved data has changed. My bleeding log is wrong and when I go in to correct it, the app crashes. It also added the shot to my birth control log every time I have something else logged and the calendar is too clunky to navigate through and correct. Each time I log or change something from a past month, the app automatically scrolls back to the current month so it’s very tedious to keep scrolling back to correct anything that’s wrong. Even with the great privacy, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone until they fix these significant issues. It’s a shame because I really loved and relied on the app prior to this.

Very useful, very private

I have been using this app for quite a while now. I really only use it to track and predict my period cycle, which it has been great for. I guess you can also track ovulation and other reproductive stuff, but no need for that on my end, so no insight on how good it is for that. However, I now have a pretty reliable prediction each month and am better prepared for old Aunt Flo to make her monthly visit.

There’s no way in-app to give feedback, so I’m hoping the Developers read these reviews. It would be nice if there were a few more options for tracking. Like under Body there’s no “Aches” or even just “Mild Pain.” There’s only “Cramps” and “Severe Pain”. And I have a lot of achy hip and lower back pain associated with my period, but it is neither cramping nor what I would consider “severe.” It’s just uncomfortable and would be nice to track which days of my cycle it corresponds with.

But overall, for my purposes, the shortcomings are few.
