Has been accurate for me so far
I have tested 1 gold & several silver coins and also US 90% coins and it seems to be very accurate. Need to look up many of the coin weights for size, weight & purity myself since the database is mostly just US coins, but can’t complain since it’s free!

Seems accurate on a few test coins
I tested a few coins, and known “fakes”, such as US silver coinage before/after 1964, and the app easily distinguishes the two and reports good/bad. I also tested a couple of 20th century gold coins which reported good. The user has to research size/weight/metals content on their own. The app is promising for further development, but a lack of basic instructions and accuracy estimates makes it a (free) toy. I would pay $10 or more if it could be shown to identify most fakes.
