  • Money or not its good

This app is honestly so fun! Lets be honest here, in the end whether i get money or not im still learning in a game esc style. People who say that they aren’t earning money quickly, it never advertises “quick money “ it’s helpful and helping you learn… get over it!!! If you know your stuff and YOU ACTUALLY STUDY! You will rack up points! So from a 15 year olds perspective it’s a good learning tool to use aside from the financial literacy class my school offers! It’s a good app regardless of money and or prizes! I know this sounds like a paid review or a robot but I truly enjoy this app, 💯 recommend if you want to learn more about how money works!

P.s. i am actually retaining stuff so I’m actually gaining points… huh? Crazy how that works!

  • Teaches you a lot, but can be slow and laggy. Also issue with rewards

Update - if you’re going to download this app, keep in mind that they only allow you to cash out 3 gift cards. Rack up as many pineapples as you can, cash out for $10-20, don’t bother with $5. Also don’t bother creating a new account, they verify you via driver’s license (then maybe take the 3 gift card cap away? just a thought)

This app does teach you a lot about finances. I’ve noticed that it takes up to 30 seconds to load each section. Also, I’m having an issue with rewards, and I really hope they add new modules soon. The old reward system let you cash out at $5, now it’s $10. I’m sitting around 8k pineapples with one module left to complete. I’ll be sitting there for some time if they don’t add more. It’s been like 2 months since leaving the above review. I’m stuck with 800 pineapples left before I can cash out. They’re adding new modules veeeerrryyy slowly, it’s going to be another 6 months before I’ll be able to get a $10 reward. Then Zogo is getting uninstalled. Oh, the app is still very laggy and takes forever to load each section.

  • Disappointing first experience…

So I am a Fetch Rewards user (best app in the world!) and a buddy of mine has introduced me to Zogo, another app that rewards you free gift cards if you collect a sufficient amount of points. I mean, who doesn’t love free stuff right? So I decided to try this out to see what this ‘alternative’ rewards app has to offer. Unfortunately, my experience was a disappointment. I wanted to earn a $5 Apple Gift Card and needed a ton of pineapples to get it. So I play a ton of the learning games to rack up the amount of points needed to earn my gift card. As soon as I successfully racked up the required amount of points for it, I redeem it and… my reward was denied. Why? Well, it turns out my account was flagged for suspicious activity. I’m sorry what? Suspicious activity? You gotta be kidding… It was ridiculous because I did nothing wrong. All I did was play games to earn points to redeem for a free gift card and all of that just to get denied for suspicious activity? And not to mention that the points I redeemed were subtracted from my total but I’m still empty handed with no reward. What a joke. I wasted my time with this. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this app. I highly recommend downloading Fetch Rewards instead! It’s a very rewarding app and I promise it’s worthwhile. I’ve been a loyal user there since 2020 and I’ve gotten tons of rewards there!

Hi Johnny! Thanks for your thoughtful and thorough review. We're glad your friend referred you and that you enjoyed the initial learning experience. However, unlike Fetch Rewards, Zogo is a learning platform. At Zogo rewards are an incentive not the primary app purpose, so our rewards systems work very differently. For example, in Zogo your account can be flagged if you're answering content questions too quickly (like a robot), redeeming rewards within 24hrs of making an account, or referring fake user profiles to earn rewards unfairly. Zogo places an emphasis on the learning experience and giving rewards fairly. If you believe your account was flagged for suspicious activity in error, don't fret! You can contact support@zogofinance.com to get answers and help with the issue. We hope you'll keep learning and earning with us!
  • This App Is Trash

Find the negative reviews ( they were trending) here and heed the warning, as I didn’t. The very same thing happened to me that another user warned of. I got about half way in to earning my gift card and the app quit working.

I had to uninstall and reinstall, but it wouldn’t accept my password. So I had to start over, so I chucked it up and started again to earn the pineapples.

Finally I get to the reward, and it then asks for very sensitive info?? My full name address Drviers license number AND a picture of it, front and back. I go ahead and submit it. But get this—- it then asks for THREE selfies. I hesitantly attempt to acquiesce. Then the system abruptly starts over asking for my license Id and photo again. I continue in this perpetual loop.

I contact customer service. I really had to dig to find an email address. These ppl do not have a registered company name that I could find. Customer service gave me the runaround, but I stayed the course.

After canned responses and accusing me of gaming the system with 2 accounts??, their final reply— I need to log out and log back in to the original account , which is where it all started — I could not log in.

This company wreaks lack of transparency and misuse of GDPR and personal data. All of these details about ID should also be stated clearly upfront.

My final analysis is this app is total garbage.

Hi Spellrx, we appreciate your thorough and thoughtful review. We're very sorry you had this poor experience. The reward system does not allow a user to redeem from a secondary account. This is likely why our support team tried to get you back on your first account. Also, Zogo does not use passwords. We use text codes or Apple/Google account sign-in. We're not sure why you had trouble logging into the first account. But our engineering team could definitely help. Hopefully, the support team connected you with them. We require ID because US-based sponsors fund Zogo gift cards. Asking for ID and selfies helps ensure we send our sponsors' money to real people living in the United States. Our support email can be found on our website, help center, and by tapping "contact support" in the app. A quick google search should pull up our FAQs and contact info. Hopefully, knowing these things will make your Zogo experience a little better. We want all our users to enjoy using our app. It's our intention to make learning financial literacy as fun as possible. You'll also notice most of our reviews are overwhelmingly positive in both ios and android. What you experienced was not normal, and we'd love to have you keep learning with us if you're interested!
  • Safety?

Not sure why they need identification honestly and I read terms and services and Zogo neither specify whether the data of users can be sold to outside parties nor does Zogo specify whether it shows users customized adverts. Nonetheless, according to the agreements, Zogo may permit third parties to compile personal data about a user's online actions over time and across several websites, applications, and other online goods or services. Although the conditions state that Zogo has implemented reasonable protections to assist prevent against loss, unauthorized use, and alteration of user information, they do not list the specific measures taken. I would not risk giving such personal information for some gift cards.

  • Amazing app, but I feel as gift card prices are too high

I love the app despite some bugs(timer on parties being incorrect, sometimes the parties will automatically be answered for me…), but my main complaint is the gift card prices. I feel as if 50,000 pineapples for one gift card is just too high and takes forever to get to. I understand that it’s because people might be cashing out the smaller ones with 5k pineapples too fast, but I wish the limit was something more forgiving like 25k, 30k, or 35k.

  • Great Way to Learn & Earn!!!

You read a topic, take a test, and then repeat, until you take a big test at the end, which covers everything you just learned. It’s that simple and easy, but you learn new things and get points from it. Once you accumulate enough pineapples, you usually get the gift card right away. I really appreciate how there’s a wide variety of skills they offer, not only focusing on the financial side(like cooking an egg, growing a garden, etc.) Hopefully, they add more soon. My only issue is that there are some questions/answers that are confusing and kinda vague. Some answer choices can be right, but are considered wrong according to Zogo. Then I would end up losing a heart every time this happens, which can get annoying. Overall, I would still keep using the app.

  • Wonderful app, very helpful

So, I downloaded this app to learn about finances because I struggle with my own finance a lot, especially with budgeting and saving. This app is so easy to use, and it gives the information in a way that is very easy to understand. I have severe ADHD and can almost never learn boring topics such as finance and anything with money, (if I’m being honest) but this app made it interesting and informational, and extremely easy for me to understand.
10/10 I will be recommending this app to all my friends!

  • Good app for a little kids for Robux or make money

This app is amazing every night before bed or when I’m gonna do something that night. I always get on Zogo and learn to get paid the questions are super easy and if I don’t know the questions I just take a really good but for the most part by the end of the week, I get five dollars every time enough for me to buy Robux or just added to my credit card. Also, you can also earn Zogo pineapples by doing creative things like hobbies, sports crafts by the end of the day you’re gonna have a lotta pineapples by doing fun things. This app is amazing.
