  • Best of its class!

I have been using sheet music on screens instead of paper for 26 years now - HUGE benefits as literally, everyone is “on the same page”. I have used many different apps along the way but the ease of use, reliability, and functionality are stellar with SongbookPro! To be able to import songs so quickly, rekey them on the fly, add my own notations, and keep it all backed up and shareable across the team’s devices is such a timesaver.

  • only imports one song at a time

I may be wrong about this, but it seems you can only import one song at a time and each import takes no less than 6 clicks. That’s 600 steps for a hundred songs, which is likely the least that most of us have.

I cannot quite wrap my brain around this limitation.

Once you’ve made a nice rainy day project out of painstakingly importing all your songs, it seems otherwise pretty cool. Although I currently can’t get mine to go back to the scrolling option for multiple pages...

  • exactly what I need

There are lots of apps out there that display sheet music or chord charts, but this one is perfect for me. I love how easy it is to import music or write out my own lead sheets. The ability to change keys on the fly makes accompanying a vocalist much easier than it used to be when I was making my own documents. Making handdrawn notes overlayed on the sheets is hugely helpful. Being able to share sheets in multiple formats with other people I’m playing with is really valuable. Most of all, I just like having a coherent way of organizing and displaying music I’m playing, even when it’s in a variety of formats (pdf sheets and lead sheets with chords). I’ve also really appreciated that there are improvements always being added—one recent update made the handwritten notes way smoother than it used to be, for example—and they seem to be really responsive to input. There are a few suggestions I think I still have, but I know I can submit these. For a few dollars, this app is a bargain.

  • Songbook Pro

4 members in our group are using this for all of our sets and songs, sharing amongst each other. Several features create one of the best gigging musicians tools around. Sharing of sets and songs, extremely easy key change, easy customization of the chords and lyrics, and a direct link into ultimate guitar app. Please keep up with adding new features.

  • Amazing simple app

This app is amazing and I like it a lot!
A few recommendation for improvement is to add a feature to change between different languages. For example if I have an English song saved, to be able to add the Romanian translation to the song as well in the same song or vice versa or any other language. That would make this app amazing.
Another upgrade would be to be able to search the whole web for a particular song to import.

  • Awesome!!!!!

I found this app a year ago and have since gotten well over 20 of my musician friends to purchase it. It does exactly what is needed for an incredible price! And to date have not had one technical issue!!! Takes a little time to set it to your liking but once you get it the way you like it! BAM, your all set!!! Only thing I’m constantly fighting is getting the scroll to move at a proper pace. I think a scroll foot peddle may solve that for me! Keep up the great work!!! I’ll keep promoting this to as many friends as possible!!!!

  • Great app on all devices

I love the features of this app, and the developer has been pushing out plenty of updates. Even better from my perspective is that he is keeping the Windows app updated too (and the app for my old Fire tablet). I really love being able to edit my music library and practice music using the big screen on my laptop (which folds around to act like a tablet, making it more convenient for on the music stand).

I have some small wish list items for the app, but looking at the stream of updates released over the last year, I have no doubt it’ll continue to get even better!
