  • Absalute best

I have never had loads of cash. But i need to let everyone know that you dont need to have a barn full of cash to have an awsome rig. Truly elegant and worth every penny. I love this app and everything it stands for.
Do you know when the celestian packs will be available??? Thank you posative grid. Fan for life

  • Stop the ads!

the adverts are really really annoying. Every time I open the app I get an ad that I’ve already said no to, and now I’m getting notifications that pop up another ad. I’m a fully paid user. Please, please give me a way to turn off adds. Pressure selling to me every time I start the app isn’t going to change my mind, and is just going to turn people away

    Developer Response

Hi there, 1) For GuitarMatch, it's always better if you use humbucker then chose a single-coil target or vice versa. 2) We have fixed the tuner issue in the latest 1.0.4 hotfix. 3) You need to update your BA2 to the latest version for FX2 integration. 4) Again, you need the latest version of BA2. 5) Sorry, we cancel the IAA host feature because it's actually an unstable feature that causes a lot of audio core issues and crashes. We will update more amps and effects later on so we assume it's gonna be enough for users to utilize. 6) FX1 and FX2 are completely different DSP engine, therefore it cannot migrate your presets without causing any sonic difference that may damage the presets. 7) Can you please describe more about "easy way to save presets"? 8) We will update more amps and effects later on, please stay tune to our app update notifications. Thank you.
  • Tone for days, but IAA is deprecated: need AU

I love the tone available on bias fx 2. I can really dig in and get what I hear in my head between this and bias amp. Unfortunately, I had to remove it from my live iPad rig because it crashes a lot, and loudly, with a gig-ruining full blast buzzsaw sound. With Nembrini and overloud making great sounding amps in AU format, PG really need to get an AU version out, and not charge again for it, since it should have been in v 2 from the start. Who releases a new version on a deprecated platform!? Wish I had saved my money on iOS version and stuck just with the desktop version which is stable and sounds great. I wanted to work with a platform I know and love on iOS and capitalize on the amps I've put together on desktop version for a mobile rig on my iPad. That doesn't work cuz of the crashing unfortunately. 5 stars for tone, one star for stability, features, and support. I get the feeling the PG guys are overextended.

  • Expensive for an app, but, guys!!! What a great job you’ve done!!!

When I need to travel light, this is my favourite app by far (with guitar midi2)
Since the fist edition, the sound quality has been improved (dynamic, thickness, ect...)
For sure, the price for this app cost a virtual arm, but if you think about : it’s not even the price of a single little little pedal effect.
It’s also a good way to try virtually mix of effects before building a real hardware pedal board for example.
Well, I still really impressed by the work you’ve done guys!!!
So, a big thank you for the work.
All the the positive grid team must be well paid for this (hope it is)

    Have a good day

  • Updates Causing Issues

I’ve had Bias FX2 for a little while and have had a pretty fun time with it but I tried to use it today and it just kept telling me to connect my iOS hardware even though my iRig 2 was connected. I have no idea what’s going on. I’ve turned my phone off, made sure the app is updated but it keeps telling me to connect iOS hardware.

Also I’ve had an issue since day one where if I attempt to click on the settings button it just freezes and then closes the app. This still hasn’t gone away despite the updates.

  • Best Mobile Amp/FX App Around Since Update

With the latest update they’ve brought MIDI Support and the mapping is even better than the previous version. It’s now the best app of its kind in the App Store (IMO), and I’ve tried quite a few. I’ve got the elite licence so everything is unlocked but omg what you can produce with this is incredible and all so simple and intuitive. Swipe left on my iPad to pull up Apple Music app over the top of BIAS and you’re rocking away with the FooFighters in no time. Still would love the “knob gesture” setting from BIAS 1 brought back but hey I have no complaints. Great job everyone at PG.

  • Just needs the MIDI interface

I’ve been using FX on my iPad for years and for the last couple it’s been my go to when I’m playing at home. That said, IMHO FX2 is a big improvement. It sounds great and I really like the interface. The looper was also a nice add. This is enough of an improvement over FX that I don’t mind the $50 price tag. As at least one other reviewer mentioned, that’s about what I paid for the cheapest pedal on my board. My only complaint is, no MIDI. I like using my stomp box to switch things. This is an easy 5 once you get that patch out. Cheers
2 Aug 2020 update. Ok, you guys came through on the MIDI. Just spent a couple of hours playing all kinds of setups. Nice job on the interface, very intuitive. Upped my rating to a well deserved 5. Very nice work!

    Developer Response

Hi there, thank you so much for the support! We are sorry about the "MIDI coming soon" issue. We want to redesign the whole MIDI structure of BIAS FX 2 Mobile and don't want to hurry the process then causing issues later on. Again, thank you.
  • Give Me Midi

They released this knowing that we would use it live with Midi controllers yet there is no Midi support. I do not want to tap a screen while I am playing. When the Midi support is added I will add more stars. But I can’t use it live without it. So even though they say it will be fixed this month it is a purchase I would have waited to make had I known.

Other than that it is great. I think it sounds better than the original. And the new effects are great. If you don’t need Midi you should definitely like this.

  • It needs minor improvements in the iphone version

I haven't any complain about the sound quality, but one thing that bothers me, is that once you've imported Impulses Responses, you can't delete them. I love to try new ones and I have a lot of them and I need a way to manage so many archives. In fact, I think there should be a way to manage Bias Amp 2 imported amps too (delete them, reorder the way they show in the menu, maybe filter by name).

  • Poor sound quality

I recently purchased the Bias FX2 for my Laptop and it sounds great! Decided I’d also like to get it on my iPad too but it sounds awful. I’m using the same Focusrite interface that works so brilliantly with the laptop, but the sound quality is horrible compared to the laptop version. I’ve tried every combination of input to get a better sound but I’ve finally given up - I’ll be sticking with the Windows version which is excellent!
