  • Bias FX 2 Success

Bias FX 2 is the tool I needed to find all the sounds, effects and tones for live shows. It has so many options for amps, pedal effects and guitar match sounds, virtually and endless selection of combinations, plus Bias FX 2 has ToneCloud for designed pedal boards with my favorite songs and artist sounds. I integrated a midi controller with Bias FX 2 Mobile on an iPad Pro so I am able to seamlessly switch effects while keeping my hands on my instrument and my focus on the crowd. Quality product and sound. Thank you Positive Grid.

  • Great way to start

Just got my first electric, a telecaster, and BIAS FX 2 is a great way to learn about all the stuff after the guitar to make the sounds I like without spending a boat load of cash. It has been great with an iRig 2 and an older iPad Mini.

Only thing that isn’t cool is the app likes to crash; hopefully this is improved soon as I plan to use this in live performances for school assemblies and church worship after COVID.

  • Great software, horrible business ethics

I was a user of the original Bias FX app. It was fantastic and made playing easy and enjoyable. However, with the release of Bias FX 2 and the update to iPadOS 14, the original has crashed and this version constantly asks me to purchase additional pedal packs...even though the purchases I made in the original do not cross over.

This is unethical and poor customer care. I'd love to use this app again but I don't feel comfortable spending my money with a company that may or may not decide to keep their product working.

  • No AUv3 and failed to load presets

I uninstalled the Positive Grid stuff after being an owner of all the packs. No matter what I did with Felix at Positive Grid Support the program would not let me load presets even though we got all the packs to say Purchased. This problem, along with no AUv3 support, makes this a dead app for me. Having paid money for this I really hope Positive Grid gets their act together. With Nembrini, Overloud TH-U, and GE-LABS in AUM I am in heaven and making my own cabs using convolution reverbs and IR’s. When and if they fix the issues and drop some AUv3 support I hope to re-install Positive Grid’s apps.

  • MIDI Support isn’t all there. If you need MIDI wait for an update.

Man this app would be super cool, if MIDI worked as it should. I have a high end MIDI controller. I can change channels, mappings on buttons and I use it successfully on other iPad apps, but for some reason Bias FX 2 doesn’t want to work with it. Even after I bought the Elite pack. I tried reaching support via Twitter a few days ago, but no answer. I do hope the devs are able to support any MIDI controller soon. Other than that. Killer app. If MIDI is a must for you, I suggest to wait for a future app with bug fixes.

  • Sigh.

This app is designed purely to frustrate the user. Two updates that promise the world and still don’t fix the myriad of problems that plague this app. Emails get perfunctory responses without addressing the root causes of failures. I honestly think that their programmers have all resigned en-masse and the updates are released by tap-dancing hamsters. Yes, the tones are brilliant, but don’t even THINK of using it live or with MIDI switching. Make your own patches, as the Tonecloud ones take furious delight in crashing the entire app. I’m going back to stand-alone pedals - adios amigos.

  • Not impressed at all!

What a waste of over 60 dollars. It’s just a screeching mess. Honestly rather my money back and invest in something that actually works. BIAS Amp works fine however. It’s either high gain screeching or just muddy and no body. Could someone get back to me on this please!
  • AMAZING

Seriously one of the best guitar apps. Even know you’ll have to have a input for your guitar to your phone , it’s great. I’ve downloaded a lot of Metallica tones and they’re really good for a free app but you have to pay for downloads.
You can even make your own tones and have people try them out!

    Would seriously recommend 😋

  • Undo

Hi, I’m 14 years old and use this app for my guitar tones. The whole app is great, and I really enjoy customizing tones I come up with. But there’s one problem... NO UNDO BUTTON! If you accidentally hit ‘Clear’, then you’ve lost everything and have to start over (ask me how I know this). I think that the undo button would really help out, so please add this :)

  • Bias Not working IOS 14

Having issue with both Bias Fx versions 1 an 2 crashing on start up. Is Bias not supported on iOS 14 yet ? I’ve done all recommendations given by positive grids site an still get both versions crashing. On a good note Bias Amp 2 seams to be functional as normal. I should mention these crashes are happening on iPhone 11 Pro an iPad 7th gen air both since updating to IOS 14 before update they were working great an never crashed or had any issues. So I’m assuming bias has to be updated now to work. any help would be nice at this point
