  • Very nice travel companion

I want a battery powered speaker (Bluetooth) rig to play while traveling. I have a Line6 Sonic Port and iPhone 12 Pro Max that I am using this on. I have the input buffer set at the lowest (best—lowest latency) setting and it works perfectly. The sounds are really good, the interface is nice looking, reasonably easy to learn and very powerful. Very glad that I got the maxed out version—so many amps and effects to play around with. I have been playing for years and this setup should keep me happy for a long time.

  • What is going on?

To start I will say that this is one of the best softwares.
To be able to use the Bias fcfa 2 live, I had to buy the Irig BlueBoard because the hardware supplied by Positive Grid is no more on the market.
It worked fine till one day the BlueBoard stopped working only with Bias fx 2.
    What is going on?
To continue using the Bias fx 2, I had to spend money again to get another hadware, the MIDI Commander.
Yesterday, January 22nd 2021, my guitar rig stopped working.
The reason: Bias fx 2 is not working with Audiobus 3. Contacted, Audiobus said that the error is coming from Positive Grid.
We cannot tolerate this no more.
    What is going on?
Please don’t buy this software if Bias fx still not working with Audiobus 3.

  • Latest ‘fix’ hasn’t fixed it!! Currently 100% Useless

Paid a lot of money for this app and additional bundles a few months ago and it’s never worked in my 2020 iPad Air running latest iOS. Crashes immediately when launched or doesn’t recognise the I/O and crashes when clicking settings. Not good enough Positive Grid!

The sounds may well be great when everything works but I’ve not had the opportunity to enjoy them yet, so far I’ve paid good money for a product that is 100% useless on my device

Will be requesting a refund if this isn’t fixed soon. :-/

  • Great amp but don’t buy until AUv3 compatible

I really hate to say anything bad about Biax FX. I have poured a lot of money into their app over the years. I also have the desktop version and it is good but the iOS platform (or similar) is the future. I think Bias FX for iOS was and still could be one of the best out there but not now. They seem to have gone all in on inter app audio but have ignored audio units and Audiobus, at least for now. They used to work well with Audiobus which was an awesome combination but really, nothing seems to work well now. It’s probably Apple’s fault for not working better with third party apps. I sent a question to Positive Grid a few weeks ago via their forum about audio units but have yet to hear a reply.

  • Disappointed but ill give it 4 stars

I love the app I have it on my iPad and use it daily just to mess around and jam with some of the music on my iPhone, but one thing I’ve noticed, the description on the app says I can record with this version of the app, and I can’t for the life of me find away to record anything. I won’t pay for the app unless I can record. It’s a major issue. Also a little side note, I hope if there is a way to record it’s more than just a looper.

    Adding to my rating:

A buddy of mine bought me the elite bundle for Xmas, I love all the content but definitely need more than a looper to record anything so now I need a computer so I can figure out how to record my ideas. Anyway awesome app can’t wait to see what future updates bring thank you for an awesome app.

  • Feature rich

First and foremost: I’m very a very novice guitar player and currently only interested in blues tones so my review has it’s limits. With that being said, Bias FX has been my “go to” effects app for all my electric playing. Having such an incredible tool for my mobile set up is almost magical at times and has given me inspiration and motivation to continue practicing. The elite IAP was probably one of my most influential purchases of 2020 and the associated extended time at home. I’ve been so impressed with Bias, I pulled the trigger on the Spark amp last week.

  • Best!!

The best one in the market without any doubt.
    Thanks for creating this.
  • Bias fx2 crushes on settings cog tap

    Hello
I tried to find a way how to report a problem, but couldn’t.
So writing this review here... My Bias FX 2 crushes on iPad and doesn’t see audio interface (apogee jam).
On the start I see a message about audio interface problem. Then I tap on Settings cog icon and the app just crushes, exit abruptly.
I can’t use it at all.
I still have bias fx1 and JamUp on this iPad and they both work fine with this audio interface.

  • Latest step to the future

Still a work in progress, all the OS packages do not fully integrate yet which is annoying, the marketing is driven by latest product and not long term picture. If the OS systems deliver the sounds that you want this, with its endless variations and add ons will be for you. Would be great to be able to do local saves as well as public cloud.
    Good product can be great.

  • Great Guitar rig

I love this app! It's very easy to use and really is super powerful! Has plenty of features and haven't had any issues. You wont be disappointed. I got the higher level pack on Black Friday for 30 bucks. I'm a firm believer in the axe fx and even this lives up to the power of that rig. Why it has a 3.9 rating is beyond me.
