Great App
I think this is a wonderful app!! It has been super helpful between me and my girlfriend seeing each others plans and work schedules to plan dates. I do believe the app could run a little smoother but between each update I have no real complaints. I just think It’s about time to add a widget for the app! I think it’ll be so useful, I have a seperate calender app for my own personal errands (it does link to howbout thankfully! so my girlfriend still sees what i’m up to) but it’ll be nice having Howbout on my homescreen and not having to always open the app if i want to know my girlfriend’s schedule. i think it’ll be a great addition 💖Show lessKartillian

Very convenient for a group of friends! We struggle to make plans because half of us are always busy and the other half is always free or only make plans spontaneously. It’s just a little confusing at first but it’s great!Ramroom💕

i found this app when me and my friends were struggling to figure out when we were all free as our work rotas were never very clear and we were busy people, we used the hell out of this app at first and now they don’t use it but i still love putting my fun activities in for my friends to see and making plans with those who do use it. it’s easy to use and a cute little appShow lessEllielamoon

Absolutely mind-blowing how stupid an idea this it is to *require* you to add 3 people before you can do literally anything on the app.
To be clear, I get it. Encourage more people to download it! Grow the user base by getting people on the platform!
Personally I want to join a group of friends who have a single group event calendar. Can’t. How is one of the most obvious use cases impossible because of a weird requirement?
This would be great for a book club… except you can’t use it for that without adding multiple people first. Or for divorced parents to coordinate kids schedules. Or for a rec team to post game schedules. But no, you made an arbitrary requirement to try and squeeze more downloads.

We’ve seen that our users have a much better experience on our app if their friends join at the start too, so we’re encouraging users to add friends when they sign up so they can get straight to sharing time and planning together 😊 Howbout is a social calendar app that’s great for multiple groups of friends and family too (and by default, your calendar won’t be shared with friends unless you give them permission) so perhaps there are a couple more who’ll join you? 🙌 If you want to hear a little more about this (as we're limited to word count here) or if you have any more feedback, just let us know over at support@howbout.app ✨So easy to make plans

I usually don’t write reviews but I loved this app so much. At first it took me a little time to figure out how to use it but then got it. I love using it because I don’t like regular l calendars. You can also share an plan with your friends to see what they have going on.J.W.4525
it used to work
the app used to stack all of the different colored plans on top of each other when you shared a plan on the calendar but now whenever you share a plan it just has a peace of color next to it to indicate the people invited and there is no way to change it back. it irritated me so bad and I had to switch to a different shared calendar app.Show lesshehehehhehehehheheh
Good concept, bad for night shift
Tried to download this to better sync my nightshift schedule with friends and S/O, but even when you create a thing for work that says pm shift or night shift it sets the time for 9am, and isnt smart enough to roll it over to the next day... so if my shift is from 7pm to 7am, i have to manually change the time to 7pm, then change the day over to the next day, then change that to 7am... with no option to quick save that because it wont be date specific... not very smart design honestly. Recurring function doesnt work well for this either for people like nurses who have different work days each week. Bad design.Show less212327

Really annoying that you have to invite friends before you can even start using the app. I get that the premise is a shared calendar with friends, but I want to be able to check out the functionality and determine if it’ll be a good fit before bombarding my friends with invites. Plus, I was just hoping to use it as a shared calendar with my partner plus maybe a friend or two if the time presents itself. Not being able to even get into the app before sending friends invites and having them accept, download the app, and make an account themself will likely lead to me simply deleting the app.Show lessH.A.H

I am only writing this review to express how much i enjoy this app. its easy to use and helps me stay connected with my family. i just wish we had widgets we could add so i could see everything that was going on for that day !!Aleksamalys028484
