Great but it would be perfect if...
Is a really great app if you want to have everything organized in your pantry, missing some ingredients but really specifics ones (like there is yogurt but not Greek yogurt, if it helps I can list them for you app people so you can add them on, lol) but what is really missing for me is the option of adding the recipes that I find based on my pantry list to a weekly meal plan, right now I am using the option favorites like that, and at the end of the week I removed them and I add the new ones I want to try, I really think it would make this app perfect if you could add that on!

Could be really great
I’ve not had the trouble with the ad’s that seems to be an issue for other users...
The idea behind this app is great and could save so much money and reduce waste..it’s easy to add all the ingredients and there’s lots of recipes to be had for only a few basic items...
The problems I’ve had is, when adding recipes to favourites they aren’t added as a new one but replace the one that’s there, I tried to make a plan for the week and only ended up with one recipe in the favourites section which was very annoying,
Could do with a feature to add missing ingredients to the shopping list,
And finally an option to select that you’ve used all of a particular ingredient or have some left would be a really good way of keeping track of what you have and need..
Change these and I’d defo recommend to the thousands of people in the mums group and healthy lifestyles groups I’m in + give 5 stars

Surprised it’s better than expected
Finally I can make dinner without sifting through tons of recipes only to find I don’t have this or gotta buy that...such a pain. This made it much easier! Just input ingredients you already have on hand & voila! A bunch of suggested recipes at your disposal. Of course not all of them are winners but still, I can use up some stuff that’s been sitting around for too long plus find new recipes to add to the dinner rotation. Tried 2 recipes already & both are pretty good with a few minor tweaks & it’s free!

Can’t log into my account
I have used the website for years, and decided to try the app. I can’t log in, because I log in with Facebook. This needs to be an option in the app. I now have to create a new account and go through my entire kitchen again.
Update: received an email from the developer within 12 hours with instructions on how to log in. Great customer service. The work around to reset password for my Facebook email address worked. I am sad to hear the log in with Facebook option is being removed, and not sure what privacy reasons it could be for considering almost everything I use has a log in with Facebook option. They claim it is for a privacy concern, but who knows really.

Hi, we removed Facebook login for privacy reasons. It will be removed from the website as well. You can use your facebook email address to just set a new password and keep all pantry items, just click on "forgot password" in app. Please feel free to email us at ios@supercook.com We'd be happy to help! Update: thank you for the feedback update! In order for Facebook login to work, we must use Facebook code in our app, potentially (and likely) allowing them to track our users actions. We chose not to include Facebook code in SuperCook.
WOW This is amazing!
This is such a great app and so easy to use. My 86 yr old Mom even uses it with ease! It was so easy to add all the food and spices, etc to the app via the microphone. It picked up just abt everything I said. I tend to speak fast, so I either re added ingredient or tapped in its name.
We thought we had nothing to eat, but now we know we actually have 30,000 plus recipes to make! And that amount was with no meats, fish or chicken ingredient s added. I do need a trip to the store and i can’t wait to see how many recipes I will have then! Thank you!

Brilliant
To be able to have so many recipies available when importing pantry ingredients and being able to pick and choose is brilliant. With my pantry of ingredients and a recipe selected my lemon cake was wonderful and didn't have to worry about not having the correct ingredients as they were already present in me pantry

Doesn’t work - don’t bother until an update!
Not sure if this app is even being maintained. 3 times I entered in all ingredients in my cupboard and the app either freezes or marks the no of ingredients as 0, making me start again. It has potential but not without WiFi Ing such critical core feature bugs! Come upon guys!
Also read the other review, ads aren’t bad and a fair exchange for the service you provide but pls just factor in the user journey and only put 1 add per a half an hour time frame. Not sure what the latest publisher recommendations are, read online, but there is a balance to strike between ads/revenue and a bad user experience that will make you lose the user and the revenue they bring you.
Otherwise nice effort. Don’t give up just yet!

Hi there, All pantry issues are fixed. Please update to the latest version. Regarding ads, currently SuperCook does NOT serve any ads on the app (it will change in the future). We are a search engine, and we refer to other websites for recipe details. All the ads you see are from the recipe website which we cannot control. For example, if we refer you to the Tasty or AllRecipes website they will show ads there not us. We'd love to earn your ★★★★★.
Deserves more reviews
This need’s to be at the top of the list for a kitchen app. I usually pick something up in the produce aisle and find myself leaving it in the fridge to rot because I either don’t know what recipe to make something of it or if I look up a recipe I may be missing 2 or more key ingredients. I don’t have an extensive knowledge on meals and recipes so I don’t know what recipe to look for to start but with this app I’m able to explore new meals without trying to hassle to the grocery store to get the necessary ingredients and I’m using most of food items that I bought. happy tummy, happy wallet, happy me.
