Too many ads

Haven’t even been able to use because of the many ads that come with the app 😑😒

What happened?

This was my favourite app to track my study time, however, it feels unusable at the moment. It keeps lagging, switching my legend and time tracker colors and THE ADS. Wayyyy too many ads it ruined the app for me. If it was an option to buy a subscription to stop the ads I would have. I used to love this app and used it consistently over the last year however I am now forced to find another app because this is not working the way I want anymore.

Too many ads makes the app unusable

There’s ads every 5 seconds. cute app but i would rather use any other pomodoro timer than suffer through one per minute

getting greedy with ads!!

I used to absolutely love this app, during my GCSE’s it really helped me stay motivated and i was always excited for the coin exchange system. However, i am now beginning my A-levels and staying on track is very important. There used to be one ad when you finished your timer, this was absolutely fine. Now it has gotten out of hand as every time you open the app there is an ad which is no longer skippable; this makes it impossible to quickly check the timer! I have found myself preferring to not use this app when it comes to studying as the ads make it unbearable, making my tracker inaccurate and resulting in me losing motivation! Please reduce the ads!

Good idea and app but ads are annoying.

To be honest I’d rather pay $10 for this app then continuously have to watch ads on it. I like the idea of the app being a cute little bunny and the app giving the user useful insight into their study habits but I just can’t get past the frequency of ads that you have to watch.

Too many ads

I just downloaded this app and I already had to watch 2 ads in a few minutes it’s so annoying. The app it cute though

Insane amount of ads

Love this app and it’s so helpful for studying but the amount of ads especially unskippable ads is insane and makes the app annoying to use

Ads are getting overwhelming

I love this app and have been using it for about a year and a half during medical school. Just recently there has been an update and every time you open the app to see how much longer you have on the timer there is an ad! Every time you switch from break to the timer, there is an ad, every time you switch from the timer to the break, there is an ad, if you decide to skip the break and go right to another study session, there is an ad! And some of these are long ads that you can’t skip for 30 seconds or more. Oh and there’s an ad when you get a notification that you’re timer is almost up and then you still have 30 seconds after that ad and then there’s another ad!! Seriously, it’s getting ridiculous.

Used to be good but now too many ads make it unusual

I used to really enjoy this app and used it throughout the whole school year last year. Back then it would only play ads when you finished a study session which was a bit annoying but manageable. Now I'm starting the next school year and I open this app again to find it plays an ad every time you open the app plus at the end of study sessions. This makes it borderline unusable because even looking at a notification or pulling down the lock screen to look at the time triggers a notification. I also like to listen to music on my phone while studying and when I open the app the ads stops the music playing, so I have to go to the lock screen to start it again, then when I go back to the app it plays another ad and stops the music again. There is an option to remove ads but it's 20 cad which is a lot for an app that's basically just a timer with some cute icons. Extremely disappointing in the money-hungry direction this app is headed.

Potential

I’ve only recently started using this app as i’ve got to a really important year in my studies
I mainly just used it so i can chart how much revision I was doing but hoped it might help motivate me aswell
I find it great for charting revision and reassuring me that i’ve done enough
But motivation wise it’s not the best. The idea behind it is amazing - very similar to Finch which i love - but in practice isn’t well executed.
I find all the purchases are too expensive for the amount of coins it provides you per study session and realistically promotes unhealthy study habits if you wanted to purchase lots of clothes or decorations
I also find the adds really demotivating. I understand they need to make money somehow but logging on to check how many hours you’ve done this session or checking how long you have left of your timer instantly distracts me and then i have to find a way to pick up momentum again
I also wish the pauses weren’t 7 minutes or you loose coins bc sometimes duty calls and i need to break my study session for a bit over 7 minuets and i don’t want to chart it as a break because there’s nothing fun or relaxing about the bathroom.
