Doesn’t Size Correctly on Recent iPhones
I’ll split this review into two parts, content wise it is great, within a few minutes you’ll have learnt loads about Kinghorn that you probably didn’t know. The app is a fabulous resource for finding out more about the village and how it has changed.
The second part of the review is about the execution, which is a definite disappointment knowing how much work has gone into the content. Put simply it’s not properly sizing with recent iPhones so the text is bigger than it should be and there are big black bars at the top and bottom on the newer phones. It looks like the app is not correctly setting the Viewport size for newer phones.
Resizing appropriately is something that pretty well all apps do as a matter of course, usually it’s only older applications that have the problem so it’s a pity given all the work that a brand new app looks so bad on a recent iPhone.
