  • Better Than Nothing but Very Limited

Worked ok with 2017 SAR but now won’t connect to the bike. Software update to 2.4.4 6 days ago assume reason for the problem. Building navigation plan very clunky. Map doesn’t show route numbers in many cases, uses road names. Takes an hour to plan a ride could do in 10 minutes with simple tools like google maps. Whoever developed this never tried make a trip plan in North America. If you miss a waypoint by more than a 100 ft it’s too limited to see that your driving towards next waypoint! Keeps rerouting trying sent you back. Have stop , take gloves off and skip the waypoint. Would never buy this if had any reasonable option. KTM should be embarrassed to attach the brand to this junk software!!

2023 Update: Still very disappointed with the app. Just lost all my saved routes for 2nd time. App update occurred 6 days ago so may be the reason for lost maps, could also be due to iOS update. Takes hours to make them. Need to add large number waypoints to control route and very tedious adding from map view. Ride 12-13,000 km / yr and use on most rides

  • 390 Duke

This may be useful for certain models but is worthless with regard to the 390 Duke apart from the fact that it gives you access to the Owners Manual.

Turn by turn navigation DOES NOT WORK in spite of the fact that in the app description, it says this app is compatible with “all Street bikes 2010 and newer”. I have a 2023. Pretty misleading imo. I also paid the $8 USD for the “Basic” navigation plan thinking the turn-by-turn directions would show up on the bike’s screen - IT DOES NOT, don’t waste your money like I did.

  • $15 wasted

Paid $15 to use the navigation app to find out I don’t have the Bluetooth enabled, the full tech pack should come with everything and this app, KTM do better
  • Map Outdated

Time to update the map for Alberta, Canada. The map could not see the major secondary highway I was on which has been in use for many years now. 12 bucks for an old map is not so fair.
  • Useless unless you pay $$$

This app is utterly useless as a free app if you compare it to google maps or other mobile navigation apps. You only have access to the owners manual, which you can probably find, and just download.
  • Should not be a cost

Shame on you KTM. You have a premium product and you charge a premium price for your bikes and now you are going too far. You are gouging by charging for functionality in the app. (The app and it’s functionality is buggy anyway).
  • Useless basically

Bought Connectivity Unit for my bike to use this and wouldn’t even connect the first 4, yes 4 phones I tried, even the dealer couldn’t get it to work. Bought an iPhone and it actually connected and the sat nav part started to work. Still can’t actually send or receive calls though🤬🤬🤬🤬
  • Paired with Quad Lock and Cardo Packtalk Edge

Update: decided to cancel my free trial. Connectivity problems with my Cardo still too frequent. Audio through the bike too quiet to overcome earplugs and wind noise so have to push instructions through phone Bluetooth. App forgets home location, picture and unit settings. Everything below still current. Works well with my 2023 Super Adventure S when it works. Bit of a challenge getting my Cardo, Phone and Motorbike to all work at first, but removing pairing and resetting did the trick. Switching between iPhone speaker and the headset has been an issue once or twice in getting turn by turn audio back in the headset. Switching off Bluetooth and back on resolved it. You can switch between miles (imperial) and km (metric) in settings despite what other review suggest. People also complain about the lack of visual map directions, however I use my Quad Lock phone mount with the KTM connect app, and they fail to mention that the app gives you the visual direction maps as well as the turn by turn on the motorbike display. Overall works well, and being able to control Navigation, Phone, Music from the switch gear is a big plus. All in all, really pleased with the KTM Connect app and will give the subscription a trial now that I know that it works really well for me.

  • Crashes

This app is not stable, keeps crashing without any reasons or warnings, the problem is mostly safety as you can be driving in the middle of an highway or in the middle of nowhere with no directions, i initially bought the app to receive the extra features but after several crashes while driving canceled the membership, don’t buy and don’t use without a backup app.

  • Poorly designed app

This app is pretty well garbage. High battery usage even when idle, poor user interface, not rider glove friendly. So many issues. You’d expect something designed by KTM to be completely rider focused but they’ve managed to achieve the opposite. More of a showcase for their products designed by marketing instead of by someone who actually rides.
