Disappointed
When I saw this on Kickstarter and saw the video it looked like a great toy for my cats. I was really looking for a way to get them to exercise more, and was thinking this could be activated and used even when I wasn’t home. Since receiving my Ebo a couple days ago, the reality has fallen way short of expectations. As others have mentioned there is no way to program it to run on its own. And apparently you can’t use it remotely either. Tried that at work today and nothing happened. In addition, the app controls are buggy. I did the recent firmware update but it seems to have made it worse. Trying to steer the thing is an adventure all in itself. I’m hoping future app and software updates will make a lot of improvements, but so far I’m having buyers remorse.

Auto play
Just got the Ebo. Very disappointed that the auto play does not work or exist on the app. Why release it with that not functioning?
Horrible controls
Do not buy this product! Software is underdeveloped and the features promised are still missing. Don’t trust a company that has promised backers something and failed to deliver.
No Automated Play Yet
Right now there is no way to get the device into auto-play mode and it is basically a remote control video camera - the main reason I got this was the auto-play feature and at the moment I am highly disappointed in the product and will remain so until they fix the device with a patch of some kind. I would recommend not buying until they fix this.

Controls ok (sometimes) / app still in development phase
Controlling the robot from an iPad works quite well sometimes. Sometimes it’s unresponsive. Automatic docking was spooky at first but proved to be very efficient.
Video quality is definitely not HD, very grainy.
Some descriptions of the different options/symbols would be great.
Tried the iPhone version but it required a factory reset of the robot every time due to security reasons.
It’s a new product that is still in development. Will be exciting to see what the creators make of it.
Three stars for now (one of it for effort and one for the timely release of the App/robot).

Difficult to control, poor quality, but cat likes it.
Control is difficult - turning when stopped is super sensitive and it’s hard to gently turn. I also have no idea how to return back to the dock when I’m done (expected a “return to home” feature like my Roomba) - it’s essentially impossible to dock it manually due to control sensitivity issues. The preset moves (circle/back/forward) are fun.
Quality is poor - definitely no where near HD.
It’s fun though and my cat is curious/terrified/entertained by it

Awesome and different
We’ve been following the development of Ebo since the start and signed up for the a Kickstarter as soon as it was available. The Enabot team delivered before Christmas as promised and before our kickstarter pledge was even paid out.
The app and robot are of great quality. Controls can take some getting used to but once you get the knack, it’s easy to use.
We had a little hiccup connecting to the WiFi but worked through this with help from the Enabot team.
Well worth it and the cat loves to play, chase and generally terrorise her new robo-pal!
