Useless Big thumbs down nothing good about this app

Terrible lags drops out rediculus tick list fill out sections to then only have to re write it all at the end took over 20 mins to just tick the boxes the last update has made this so laggy it needs sorting terrible to work with ! Signal is shocking on it hit one client to then be chucked out into another This really needs a decent update for a change as it’s been extremely poor not fit for purpose since the start of the year ! Sort it out

Lagging

The most recent update has caused the app to lag massively. Spent 25 minutes ticking tasks and writing care notes on a single visit. The nature of the work for which this app is used does not allow for this amount of time to be spent evidencing work and creates massive strain on the working schedule. I have been using WhatsApp to message myself the care notes and then copying and pasting onto the app, but haven’t found a way around the tasks and for the last 5 days my breaks have been used to catch up due to constantly running late.

It Lags too much.

There have been times when it has taken nearly 5 full minutes alone to check all the boxes for ONE CALL, and then still needing to write a note at the end. It’s such a pain, takes forever and having written paper notes in the houses are so much easier and makes more sense because then you can actually see and read what has been happening with the client for the past few days.

My Advice, Care Office Managers, DONT GET THIS FOR YOUR STAFF.

Unless the following changes are made.

Be able to fill it in offline, as a lot of the time there is no signal in county homes or roads.

Get rid of the check list! It takes forever and then at the end we still need to write all we did anyway.

Fix the bugs and lagging problem, the amount it lags is unbelievable frustrating, and you will type out a word and it will still be loading a few seconds later.

Bug

Overall a decent app to use when it is working properly. However it often freezes or goes back into previous visits after backing out onto the home page. Unable to see previous visit notes in full and unable to access some previous notes.

Lags

It lags when checking tasks, the last update before the screen change was ace. Super quick and could fly through the tasks. Now have multiple issues when taggin in single& double calls as have tagged in as the same position multiple times.
I do like that you can change the order of clients and tag in as an unscheduled visit.

Try being a carer using this app

This is more time consuming then written notes , and now due to your wonderful changes you can’t read the notes from which the previous carer has written , apart from the first line or so this is not good enough and frustrating because alot of us carers actually care and all the information is a good thing , maybe come and work in the care sector yourselves and see how frustrating and time consuming this app is , waiting for signal to log in then it logs itself out then can’t change it if you accidentally click on the wrong thing , we are here to do care not spend eternity trying to use this app ( when it works )

Needs improvement

This app failed to schedule appropriate time for visits and also had bugs and other issues.

App fails to log visits to customer’s houses.

I am a domiciliary care worker, and I use the PASSforcare app for my work. The app is supposed to log my visits to the customers' houses, but it often fails to do so because of the poor internet coverage in some areas. Many customers use signal jammers to block the internet connection inside their houses, so our employer does not allow us to use our phones due to many complaints. This causes me a lot of trouble and stress as I prove that I have completed my tasks and hours by calling them and letting them know. Our employer has accused us of fraud and threatened to damage our DBS record.

I suggest that the app developers fix the app as soon as possible. I also request that the app apologize to every company for the inconvenience and distress that they have caused.

Rubbish

It’s time consuming, the app should be easier for us to do our care calls. Which in actual fact it’s even harder, a glitch as appeared on the app and it’s driving me insane. when a customer cancels, you have to go through every single task before you can leave the call. The app is a load of rubbish. the care app before was so much better this needs replacing and fast. Too many issues. I’d rather use pen and paper 🤬

It’s improving

But can do much better. It was confusing at first and it took me a while to get used to it, but I’m used to it now because I have to use it almost every day for work, but then, again, with the latest update there is an extremely annoying pop-up window that comes out at every single medication charting, which I could really do better without. It’s not necessary to remind me about the interval between doses, I know it.
Otherwise the app in general has improved a lot which gives me hope that I can go even better.
