Awesome for breaking in and increasing familiarity
I’ve used the app with both a 9mm and .40 cal laser cartridge. My .40 cal handgun is really stiff even after at least 1000 rounds down range. I’ve used the Strikeman app to continue breaking it in when I don’t have time to go to the range, especially since .40 cal ammo is so expensive right now. Set up each time
I go to shoot is pretty easy, and it recognizes the target both when the phone is directly in line and when it’s at a slight angle. It is annoying to have to rack the slide back each time I shoot, but I keep telling myself that it’s not only continuing to break it in but that it’s also great to practice muscle memory when my hands reset so that I’m continually resetting it at the right angle. It seems that the app hits to the right of where I’m aiming, but I also may need to adjust my sights, and I haven’t done enough comparison to the range at the same distances to determine which is the issue.
Regardless, I’m glad I finally pulled the trigger on the purchase so I can practice more often.

Awesome training device for in the home
A great piece of kit for home practice. I bought the Strikeman Pro version along with .223 & 303 laser cartridges.
Ideal for Dynamic shooting/training.
Highly recommend

Laser firearm training? For me or not for me?
For me! I recently tried out Strikeman laser firearm training software and found it to be a valuable tool for improving my shooting skills at home. The software provides a comprehensive virtual training environment without the need for physical instructors.
The program is well-designed with a variety of simulations that help users practice shooting techniques in different scenarios. I appreciated the interactive nature of the software, which allows for real-time feedback on accuracy and reaction times.
Using Strikerman, I was able to work on my shooting stance, aim, and target acquisition in a controlled and safe setting. The laser technology used for simulations made the experience quite realistic, mimicking the feel of live shooting without the need for actual ammunition

Great App
Really great app!
Great App
I was originally a little skeptical about the need for an at home training simulator, and I bought the kit mostly as something to do at home for fun. I was genuinely surprised when I started practicing and noticed that during my trigger pull my hand was compensating significantly for the anticipated recoil on the gun. After several rounds of focusing and training with the app and kit setup, my aim was dead on. I went to the range that weekend and noticed that I was shooting significantly more precise and my groupings were much smaller. I now use it for fun but also after range time to make sure my brain isn’t automatically trying to compensate for the time at the range. Great buy and absolutely invaluable for training at home. My favorite buy in a long time. 10/10 recommend!

Very in accurate app
Not easy to get the target specially if you are shooting on 20 yards or over ,obviously rifle calibre will be an absolute waste of money
First shots impressions…
Update: give a star increase. App works much better on my iPhone 11 vs my iPhone 12. The app still crashes more often than I think it should however. Usually during calibration.
Update: The app continues to not registering shots consistently. After some self troubleshooting I realized that the camera feed appeared to be lagging or stuttering. I’d put my hand on the target and wouldn’t see it on the feed for up to a minute. But the timer was continuing to run normally. This was on my iPhone 12 Pro. I tried running the app on my iPhone 11 and with the same setup that app performs much better.
Couple issues follow. I’m a little disappointed with the app performance after about 10 sessions. -the app crashes frequently. Setting up a new session isn’t hard. But it’s not a great experience. -Hits don’t always register. In a 10 shot session, I’ll do up 20 actual shots. I tried moving up close for a couple sessions to make sure I wasn’t crazy. -And improvement for the app during a session would be to have bigger font so you could see the counter and timer more easily from a distance.

Great for practice
I’ve been using it for a year now and I noticed a difference right away in my shots. Great for when I can’t get out to the range!
Bought as a gift
Bought the basic package as a gift for family.
Works pretty good. Fun way to practise dry fire techniques.
Can be used to tell if you pull the trigger in an abnormal way or if you are lining up the sights correctly.
Even used it to sight in a red dot. Works decent as a rough estimate and than can fine tune at the range.
Can't help you if you flinch though. You'll know there's no recoil and won't flinch like you would actually shooting.
All in all great way to bring the range home.
Might treat myself to the pro package one day
Also customer service is great. Have any issues and they will walk you through it very well.
