  • Amazing game!

I only downloaded Storyngton Hall about a week or two ago, knowing the basic idea of the game since I’ve played many games like this before. But what I did not expect was how clever the storyline is, how funny and relatable the characters are, and everything else! Normally with decorating games like this I don’t like the match 3-in-one idea because after a while I would get bored, but with this amazing game I didn’t! Overall, I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone of all ages!

  • Terrific thank you :)

First off love the theme! I adore ‘period’ stories, games, etc. I always find these types of games entertaining, but the problem usually is that they make it impossible to progress unless you are super good or willing to spend real money. This one is challenging, but it seems the ‘bot’ genuinely wants you to progress until the end, so it is helpful and not misleading ( I’ve only just begun a half hour ago, so we’ll see 😂) I don’t often write reviews but this was definitely worth my time, I’m really satisfied I was shown the ad to this game. Thank you 😊

  • Couldn’t get into it

In all honesty I only play these games for the decorating bits and usually the progress is quick in the beginning and by the time progress slows down I am invested. Unfortunately after using around 5 stars just to clear a table in chapter 1-2 I found myself going back to other games before running out of lives. I am on the next chapter now so am guessing it’s going to take 20 stars to make tea. I am going to persevere a little longer but pretty sure this isn’t for me.

Also, have tried several times to save my progress and it isn’t working.

  • Cute story and game....minus the bugs!

I like the difference in storyline on this one from most of the other match 3 games out there, but there are problems. I can only play one or two levels before the game freezes on me or kicks me out. I also agree with the person who mentioned the increase in difficulty level so soon for something so little. At least make your players think they are making some sort of progress on the game. Otherwise, I think it is a likeable game. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to other games from your company.

  • Cute so far, however...

I recently got the game today and I was really excited at first. I’ve noticed that the levels advance into difficulty way too soon, and once you complete a level and earn a star, the task for which you’ve tediously earned the star for, is really not even worth it. Two lines of dialogue for a difficult level, possibly without even a chance to renovate. I would love this game more, but at this point I am a bit disappointed. I hope I was not too harsh? Thank you.

  • Delightful but some inaccuracies

I’m a literature scholar and I love Jane Austen, so this game is lots of fun for me. However, there are some details that could use improvement and make it even more delightful. Mrs. Green needs to change clothes for various events, like going to church. The male servants must be fully dressed, which means a coat in addition to the trousers, waistcoat, and shirt—shirtsleeves were not allowed in front of ladies. The language could use some polishing too—the characters should never say things like “okay,” for example.

  • Great game, but...

It has wonderful graphics and interesting story behind it, but I think it needs some changes to make it more exciting. For example watching an advertisement should give you more than just one additional move, after all we are spending 30 seconds to watch it. It should be same 5 extra moves, as with buying them with the game coins. It is probably easier to give a player a choice - to spend coins or watch add. Besides something like cleaning a table shouldn’t take so many levels to play - it’s getting boring and discouraging to play. The other thing that needs to be modified - the amount of doubling your coins at the end of the level, otherwise it is getting also discouraging to continue to play, unless you will spend some real money. Who can do it - will spend it anyway, but kids have only that much of their allowance...
I didn’t have any glitches or game hiccups and the game loads quite fast without long stain pictures between levels. So, overall it’s a great game! I wish all the luck for developers of it!

  • Cute game, but

I would definitely give this five stars other than the fact that it takes so many levels to work on one little thing. Just started playing it and it seems like i have to do several levels just to clear off and clean a table 🤔 not saying it should be a ton of stuff fixed at once, but some of these little things you have to do would be nice not to have to play several levels just to take care of small things, I hope it makes sense?

  • Really well done

This game is honestly really well done compared to others of the same category. The decorating portion is great - the options are fun to pick from and worth completing the levels for. The story is wonderful! You genuinely get invested in the characters and the game because of it. It’s well put together and engaging - you’re not annoyed trying to figure out some mystery all the time, it’s more like a slice of life story which is a really refreshing change. Plus, everything is spelt right and the grammar is perfect.

The levels their self are interesting. Obviously quite a few are hard but there’s easier ones mixed in to keep the game engaging. The life system is one of the best I’ve seen. You can ask teammates for lives every four hours or so and they actually stack. You can get multiple sets of lives and that’s a really good way to do it! It would be nice to have more lives in general (maybe like ten) but I’m always going to pick faults. The chapters are well done too - they separate out the story and give you really good rewards when you finish them.

Overall, this game is really well put together and a stand out from the rest of the games in this genre.
