New Features • Document Image field - Complementing the Pictures field, Document Image is specifically for documents. - Stored as PDF with multiple-page support, Document Image can be obtained via the Clipboard or the Document Camera. • Scan with Camera - Scan in both Pictures (e.g. from photo prints) and Document Images with the Document Camera. - It supports multiple pages and is great for Text Recognition. • Image Caption & Transcript with Text Recognition! - Add caption and transcript to images, making them searchable with the built-in full text indexer. - Transcripts are automatically added with new images and when reindexing. - Text Recognizor can be customized for different combinations of languages. Picture Field + Refined Import/Export New Features • Picture field! • "Copy Name" & "Copy Picture" actions • "What's New" (WebNotices) Improvements + Copy/Paste operations support HEIF format + Import/Export: - CSV: field names automatically include deck name if colliding - better error messages - updated library with speed improvements + Access counts and dates now only updated after a delay - so e.g. fast scrubbing through Cards does not mark them with new accesses + Restore mode entered if database is damaged (data store loading) Fixes * Import/Export: field options now properly encoded/decoded Plus other minor fixes and improvements. New Features • Import & Export (lots of Encodables and Decodables): - introducing the KASE file format - JSON: KASE in JSON - CSV: Highlight, Mark, Date Accessed now import/export-able - Import Sample Data replaced by "Help: Browse Samples & Templates" Fixes & Improvements • Kase of Boxes: - Boxes cell redone based on CommonCell: fixed inconsistent height issue introduced in 3.3.1 (which was quickly released to fix an iPadOS 14.0 bug that prevented the Boxes window from opening) • Box of Decks - Box name is now the title on the Decks window • Deck of Cards - View/Filter: new Highlight rule - Date Accessed and Access Counts now sortable • Card: - changing Mark does not update modify date (like highlighting) - tap on cell to follow link • overhauled Indexing system: much more robust and reliable • reverted back from Core Data Derived attributes to self-calculated count attributes: much more reliable and also faster since there is no more need to count in place when Derived isn't up-to-date • expanded System Info for both sending feedback and Database History
