Helpful and free, not without its bugs
Set symptoms disappeared randomly
Additionally, it would be great to get better data visualization or at least averaging options for symptoms. The chart view is very difficult to actually see trends on and a rolling average might improve readability.
Pretty good
Besides that it really is good
I’m using it for recording my antidepressant withdrawal symptoms
Wave health UX and UI
Excellent!
Broken links
Contacts!
Good but….
I noticed when trying to edit the medication that it would not save the edited information despite me changing it.
This has only happened starting today but it’s started crashing every time I open the app and I lost all my profile information despite having set it all up.
Without these issues, the app is great. Though I wish it worked a bit better.
Great for symptoms tracking, medication reminders too basic
To get the full power of the charts and corresponding insights, the medication reminder functionality could be improved as currently is too basic for anyone with a chronic condition and multiple meds to be taken several times a day, most at different intervals and sometimes on specific days only.
I have to use a separate app for my meds reminders (“pill reminder”, brilliant for that!) which is a shame as would love to use WAVE as a one stop shop.
Response from developer
Hi, Thank you for kind words and for letting us know about the medication tracking reminders! We are actually rolling out a brand new redesigned and revamped version of Wave very soon. Keep in touch and we'll let you know when and how we've addressed your concerns. Best, Claudia
suggestions!
a. not select a start/end date for medication. i’ve been on medication for years so i don’t remember the start date and there isn’t an end date in sight for my meds. i also take supplements and those don’t really need a start/end date
b. make a 3rd gender option for those who don’t identify as male or female
Response from developer
Hi makena l, Thank you for your review and for letting us know about the male / female options, as well as the medication dates! We will updating both of these as soon as we can. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Best, Claudia
