The app makes it obvious and easy to set a battery-charging alarm that works well and saves battery life.
Great app which recently developed a problem...
I've been using this app on all my devices for over two years, with very few issues. About a week ago, the app on my iPad (6th generation) developed laryngitis ... the completion alarm no longer sounds. :( Hopefully, this can be repaired soon!
Change for the sake of change but it works
I don’t know why they decided to change it from being able to choose a specific battery percentage to now choosing a range. I like charging to 80% not 78 and not 83.

This is one of the iOS 17 “features” introduced by Apple. Apps can no longer get precise battery levels in iOS 17, so unfortunately you can only set the alarm at the intervals you see when moving the slider. Sorry for the inconvenience, but unfortunately there’s nothing we can do to fix it.
The truth… with a tip or two:
It took me a while to get it to work because I only had my phone with me, but it you open the FAQ on one screen and configure Shortcuts on your phone, following every step slowly, you can make this work cleanly.
By those words, you should know this is not a plug and play app where you install it, choose a fre options from a mand you are done.
But unlike several other apps, this one has no subscriptions.
Hopefully, the developer will keep it working throughout various iOS updates.

Still the one that woks!
After happily using this app for 1 1/2 years, it continues to be the only battery charge alarm that has worked well on my old iPhone every time, all the time. Easy to install & set up, with clear & intuitive controls in an attractively designed UI. And very light battery usage, contrary to the big eaters among other apps (lookin at you, battery monitors). Sebastiaan’s apps are keepers. A thousand thanks!

Battery charge alarm
Would be be a 5 star if it could run while your phone is off
It’s extending my battery life!
I’ve been using this app for over almost 4 years on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. My battery health is currently at 90%! I’m thinking I’ll likely get MANY MORE YEARS of great life from my battery. Who could ask for anything more!?!?
Doesn’t work!
Used it several times, thought I could depend on it but no alarm rang whatsoever. In fact, the battery kept charging for hours while I slept. Useless!
Not useable in iOS 17
Unfortunately apps rendered useless in iOS 17 app doesn’t have access to battery percentage and no longer able to charge to just 80% either 78 or 83. Shame as was a brilliant solution but unfortunately no longer works
Needs and update
I have the paid version and it works as advertised, I’m happy with it. One minor issue, since I’ve updated to IOS 17, it won’t let me set the alarm to 80%. The scrolling function is glitchy now, I can either choose 78% or 83%. It’s no longer precise down to a specific single digit like it was before.

Unfortunately, since iOS 17 it is no longer possible for apps to get the exact charge percentage of the device. Since only increments of 5% are made available by the Operating System, the Battery app displays ranges of 5% and only allows setting the alarm at increments of 5%.
