Last update caused consistent crashing
I love this app and have been using it for many years, even the original version. It used to crash occasionally and I would sometimes loose a few strokes when it reloaded, but now it crashing almost every time I attempt to use it. My only choice was to delete the app and reinstall it which I’m tired of doing multiple times. I have lost years of my art, 100’s of works I created. Very upsetting as an artist to loose something your put your heart into. Luckily I had already exported most of my favorites but unable to go back and edit or change anything since they are gone.Show lessFNCNANC

I enjoy the app, it could use a stroke stabilization option, but not a deal breaker. The options for rounds and sub-rounds are really cool. HOWEVER 2 stars knocked off because a new “tier” has been added that allows image import. Which is great for anyone who needs it, no problem there. But the premium version I have now has a pop-up every 20 seconds or so reminding me that I cannot import images unless I upgrade. I don’t want to, so no need to upgrade. No way to shut off the pop-up. Dev needs to address this, no thanks means no thanks.Show lessKuta Kretek

Great New Version
Even though I’ve had iOrnament for years (started with first basic app years ago), I really hadn't been using it recently. But when I saw what features and improvements had been added in this newest version, I couldn't resist! The developer outdid himself! I do believe the added fees were not excessive and well worth the price. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself as I reacquaint myself with the “new” app! I have loved this app since it first came out. Every time a new feature is added I can’t wait to try it! I love the glitter effect and the embossing effect, I love that you can adjust the lighting on the image usng the embossing effect. I love you can add sparkles to your images. With the most recent updates, I LOVE the ability to use your own imges and with the “ghost” feature you can get a custom cut out of the image. I love the custom brush options too. You can make your image rotate, change colors or give it a multi dimentional effect using the 3D and Spirals option, you can share your creation as a gif or video. Create custom mandalas, or just about any pattern combination you can think of. Hands down one of my favorite apps.Show lessInspiredhope52
A must have app for me
Absolutely love this app. Mental stimulation and relaxation at the same time. Love the new brushes, the fabulous new color gradient options and the incredible ability to use stickers and your own photos or artwork as part of the design experience. Try it. You’ll LOVE it.Suzi54241

This app has been a delight to use from the very beginning, and this new version makes it even more delightful and easier to use.
I’ve made amazing patterns for laser cutting that I couldn’t draw by hand or with other apps.
I’ve just zoned out and found all kinds of wonderful patterns just by doodling.
The new stickers let you create beautiful results even if you don’t draw well. So many lovely variations. Using an image as your pattern similarly opens up so many possibilities.
The fill tool takes a huge amount of work out of adding solid colors. Being able to send a fill to a layer different from the outlines lets you keep you art clean and allows you to change it much more easily than otherwise.Show lessDocSWAB

Another total ripoff that puts „Pro“ in the name and sets a „price“ only to make it then „Free“.
Then try to sell you the real app for a ton of money. Not even the tools shown in the tutorial at the start are available without payment.

I git this app after much consideration because its predecessor, plain old iOrnament, is my favorite app ever made; and I wasn’t really sure I could even imagine how one could improve it. However I will admit that some of the additional and upgraded features in the Pro Version are pretty cool…
…except where it’s broken. When loading saved versions or using the undo/redo functions, around 3/5 of the time the result you get back is completely screwed up, with whole chunks of layers missing or strokes completely misplaced. It’s really bad, because it essentially renders the software too unreliable to do anything important on. Note that this issue was persistent after and uninstall and reinstall as well, but I do acknowledge that I am only one user and one experience; it may not be a universal or even frequently encountered problem.Show lessDreamerDash

A new version that should resolve many of the issues you mention and adds many new possibilities is about to be released very soon and in the final stage of beta testing.
