High Prices, Authoritarian Approach to Renters, Will cancel your membership
I've rented from Landing for two years, during which I spent double the amount on rent. When I moved to another unit, I was frivolously charged enormous amounts for a couch and for damage caused by my puppy who peed on the stairs, resulting in $5K in damages. Landing heartlessly charged for items that were never present upon my move-in, so it's crucial to fill out the item checklist to avoid their price-gouging tactics. After paying $5K in damages, I was never notified of any issues until I had to move because the property didn’t renew the contract. When trying to move to a new unit, I got banned from the app and had only three weeks to find a new place, facing excessively high rates and leaving me and my dog homeless.Show lessiSick Skillz

Absolutely dreadful experience with Landing. They blindsided me by canceling my reservation in Atlanta on the very day of my move, without any prior notice. Despite the app indicating it was move-in day, crucial check-in details were nowhere to be found. It was only when I stumbled upon the reservation status section that I discovered my reservation had been canceled.
When I called for an explanation, I was informed that my spot was given to a 'higher priority guest.' This is in direct contradiction to assurances made by their sales representative, Alejandro, who guaranteed the security of my reservation a month prior. Now, I'm stranded in Atlanta, relying on the generosity of a friend, and forced to hastily arrange alternative accommodations.
To make matters worse, Landing has already charged my card $1,500, leaving me scrambling to reclaim my money. Their utter disregard for loyal customers is appalling. I have been amazed at the level of detail and appt. selections when creating this app. The customer care is fast and I truly appreciate the level of care during the approval process. I was very concerned about getting an apartment or extended stay due to my lifestyle and work hours, so this option has been a God sent opportunity.
