Great idea!
This looks to be a great idea! Being able to us your smart phone to connect the camera or control your document camera would have many uses as a teacher. The app downloaded easily, the functionality was nearly identical to iPEVO4 camera sitting on my desk top. All other functions, including connectivity to my school’s network were “pay-only” features. This brings me to my 2 - star rating, without enough (any) features to test out, I will not be purchasing this app.

Just wanted to confirm that the version you used refers to our free trial version? If so, then the version should definitely have the wireless connectability. I’ve got an iPad. I was hoping to find a solution to connect the IPEVO VZ-R (wired, USB-C connection) to the software. I launch it in the iPad and I only have the integrated iPad cameras to choose from. I don’t have a laptop, so I’d love to have an option for sharing an overhead view with my awesome IPEVO VZ-R while not in the studio while on zoom/google meet.
Ideally I would screen share to the iDocCam software and the app would be able to detect the connected IPEVO camera. Any thoughts on how to make that happen?

Hello and thanks for taking the time to review our iDocCam. Please note that in USB mode, the VZ-R document camera can only be connected to computers that have USB Type-A ports. Therefore, the VZ-R cannot be used with iDocCam, unfortunately. For your information, iDocCam is designed in a way that it utilizes the camera of your smartphone to capture and stream live images. The app is therefore, not a platform for accessing external cameras.
