  • Music services?

Can it be used with anything else than Spotify? Thanks.

Hey, thanks for the rating! Not yet, all playback functionality will follow later on. The new mobile app is not a music player, it only creates your personalized sound profile. Playback functionality will then be integrated into different third party playback systems - both software and hardware platforms. Eventually, you will be able to enable SoundID in your favorite playback platform. Specific partnership announcements will follow with the official release in April and more throughout 2020. Thank you!
  • Good idea

I’ve tried it on some songs that I’ve listen to million times og million different speakers and headphones, and I don’t agree with the sound that it’s making for me, I think it’s way to processed, I don’t like it. I love Reference though, it has really helped me with my mixes lately
  • Brilliant

Enjoying this thoroughly! Nice to have a custom eq curve for listening to music :)

We are very sorry to hear about this issue. We have made some improvements in our backend. Could you please be so kind and try again? Thanks, SoundID Team
  • It just doesn’t work

Awesome idea. This app is horribly broken. I hope it gets fixed at some point... I’d totally use the service.
  • Needs a lot of work

I like the idea, but the app really is barebones right now. My headphones are listed, but only with wired profiles. Would be good to add wireless profiles too. Also the login process doesn’t work really well, had to click on the activation email a couple times, and kill the app a couple times before I could log in.
Currently I would only give 2 stars though i’ll give 3 in hope of future improvements

Hey, thanks for dropping a line! Both issues should be resolved by now, it would be great if you could give it another shot!
  • Improvement is needed

Great idea. I have their standard program that flats out the headphones response. That idea was great too but it did not work for me. Again this app is great only if works. The analysis is not doing its job and the result is far from satisfaction level. Also it does not let me access iTunes or my own files stored in iCloud. I have ear buds Liberty pro 2 and it has similar feature and works 10 times better.

Hey, thanks for the review! The preference test has grown a lot, the improvements should now bring a much better result. The new hearing test should also make a big difference!
  • Interesting idea - need to expand supported headphones

Can’t really give a solid review as none of my headphones or earbuds are supported (AirPods pro, new Bose, bowers & Wilkins wireless earbuds). I’d love to see more models supported.
  • Not Getting The Registration Emsil

After numerous times trying to register to be able to use the app, I never get their “Regostration Email” to complete the process. Also wondering why they need my email address to begin with.
  • Give us a generic option

None of my earbuds were covered by the app. It wasn’t that they are bad - just older models. Might be nice to have some generic profiles to pick from.

I didn’t notice a huge difference with good headphones. For me it brightened the middle and I had a similar experience with True-fi, their desktop product.

Less awesome headphones seemed to benefit the most for my aged ears.
