Finally Great Technology from HH!
This is a great app. I usually don’t open all my emails from HH and for some reason I opened the one that told me about this app. Coincidently I had also seen it in the App Store the same morning. I took these two encounters as a sign that I needed to get the app, and I’m pleased I did. The universe moves in mysterious ways. I’ve loved listening to Louise Hay and Wayne Dyer today.. it feels like I’ve been able to get together with old friends after a long time (I never met them). And you can imagine my surprise when I realized that the app has my own interview on HH Radio with Bright New Voices! I took that as a positive sign too... Thank you for making this app... Is it worth it???
I’m not going to lie, Hay House has never been known for the technology they use to spread the good word. They finally managed to hit a homerun. They finally got it right!!! It’s so much easier to listen to so many amazing resources from all over the globe in a single place. I buy the actual books to support the authors, but, I will listen to the books again and again on the app. It’s a true win win for my learning style. Utilize the 7-day trial. Not all of the Hay House authors have their audiobooks included. But, there are so many great ones to chose from it’s well worth the money spent. However, I would like to see some of Doreen’s Virtue’s Hayhouse resources included if possible. All in all, worth the money!!! Enjoy the free trial into the subscription. I love the idea of the app, and have high hopes for it, however I can only access it on one of my devices, despite the fact that I am signed in with the same user name etc. on both of them,
When I have used the app (on an older device, so this may not be a problem on the newer ones, only as above, I can’t tell!) I LOVE all the meditations that are there, but there doesn’t seem to be a way of making it stop playing on to the next track -a bit of a problem if you’re resting after a meditation - and the library is just one list- no separation between meditations, books etc (as there’s a distinction under the authors listings this ought to be possible.
I love all the content on there, and if I could access it on the device I use most I would definitely rate it higher - and use it more!
I understand it’s a new app and there will be teething problems. I look forward to them being ironed out.Show lessIngyW
Some app issues
I love the content of the app but it doesn’t always work great. My subscription is due to renew in 5 days but I can’t access my stuff. My entire library of downloaded content disappeared as did my favorites list. When I try to listen to anything it brings up the Subscribe page....if I click on subscribe it says I have an active account. If I click on restore purchase nothing happens. I’m not sure what went wrong, it was working fine the other day but now not so much.Show lessangela3839
I am so (unexpectedly) excited to have this new app
I miss the old Hay House Radio app. I *really* miss it. I leaned on it to get me through my awful working day and would listen to it for hours. When it ended it was a really sad loss for me and I still keep the app icon on my home screen to remember the happy times. I was not looking forward to this replacement. I was so wrong!! This is BRILLIANT. It’s a bit like Audible but for Hay House books (as well as all the other content on there ). There are so many books I have on Kindle or in paper which are piling up and I wish I could get through them. I even have some Hay House audio books which for some reason only appear on my laptop library and not my phone, so again this limits access. So much so that there are books in all formats I’ve owned for literally years and just never seemed to get to. But now I have those books and dozens more to listen to on my phone and I am so excited to get to easily access them now. I’m so genuinely excited by this, having radio archives too is really the cherry on top. I love this idea and can already tell I’m going to be spending hours and hours with it again. App not made for IPad
I’m updating my review from one to four stars. The content is great and at a great price. I didn’t realize all the content was audio (although that’s in their description) so I was concerned about its bad design for an IPad. It’s not optimized for IPad use - instead it has a tiny iPhone-sized screen. Although I do wish it was books as well as audiobooks, the size issue is no longer as disconcerting. Deep Sigh of Gratitude 🌺
I honestly went through a period of grieving when Hay House Radio ended its 14 year run in December. I wondered, “How in the world can it ever be replaced??” Then, the Podcasts began to trickle in easing my loss and then a few days ago the link for Hay House Audio arrived. All I can say is, “Hallelujah!” I feel anchored and reconnected to my Hay House cyber family again. The content is expansive and the app is easy to navigate. I love the reminder feature. I am in heaven! My heart is filled with gratitude and I feel all is right in the world again. 💜🙏🏼🌈 Mahalo to Reid Tracy and all the outstanding Hay House authors that make this app so special and a lifeline of holistic connectedness. *Side note: I, too, had an issue with the Judy Hall Crystal Protection audio stopping as another reviewer mentioned.
