  • Poor app

You have to be right next to the trail camera in order to link to it to see what photos/videos are available. The app is very buggy - shuts down when trying to view/download/delete photos. And the grammar is bad.
  • Pass on this App & Camera

It is horrible. Unless you are within 10 feet of the camera it will not connect. Honestly its quicker to pull the card and plug it in to a reader. Software is still very buggy even after this latest update. wish I had passed on this system altogether. Normally I would give it zero stars because it flat out stinks.

  • This app isn’t working on IpadPro last generation!

This app is working perfect on IPhone old generation 6,7 etc but however it’s got solid problems accessing the camera from an IPad Pro platform.
It appears that is not communicating with the camera after the WiFi connection blaming the connection itself, despite that it’s actually connected to the camera.
Can the Developer do something about it? Really need a look into the drivers of this app! It’s sad that the app can’t keep up with the technology...

  • Worst App I have ever used.

Even when connected to both Bluetooth and WiFi I can never get it to download images from the camera. I would look for another Bluetooth camera, only because this app is so terrible.
  • When it works it works, when it doesn’t it’s awful

The idea of this app is great. It allows me to view the pictures my camera took without taking out its memory card, download them to my phone, remotely change the camera settings, etc. However, getting it to connect and work as intended is challenging. Most of the time, I have to try connecting to it multiple times before the connection is established, even when I’m standing right next to the camera and my phone is very well within its range. The app itself is buggy, kicks me out often, riddled with typos such as “Please waiting” instead of “Please wait” when downloading the images, the image download is instant sometimes but bugs out a lot too. In all, I wish the app was designed better because I enjoy the camera and love viewing/downloading images remotely.

  • Works well with Campark Wifi cam

This app did not work with iPhone in January when I purchased the camera but the bug fix seems to have worked. Only four stars for the clunky connection process but overall, I‘m now satisfied with the app and camera.

To the developers, if you made this app camera specific, state it in the description.

  • Awful app

Others have covered most of the failures of the app. I’ll just add one that I didn’t see mentioned. When looking at the pics either on the device or locally, “Select all” doesn’t mean select all, but “Select the items that happen to be on screen at the moment and not any you would have to scroll to see”. And as of the latest update (~ March 2021) when you delete multiple items it no longer says “Delete xx items?” (where xx is usually 18 because that’s what fits in my iPhone screen) but rather “Delete the item?” How is that an improvement over the previous version?? Also, the app almost always crashes when downloading videos, sometimes leaving some half-downloaded. Ugh.

  • A waste of time

I have spent many, many hours trying to make this app do what it is supposed to do. Let’s not forget that this isn’t a stand alone app, it works with specific trail/wildlife cameras, as they are marketed and marked on the box as an incentive of buying the cams. These aren’t $20-special cams and people specifically choose these for their app/wifi/blutooth capabilities.
This app maybe 50% worked with my iPhone7. When I traded that in and purchased my iPhone 11 at Christmas (which the cam was a Christmas present I specifically asked for after doing hours of research and seeing good ratings for) it worked even less. I’m talking it comes up on blutooth maybe 30% of the time. When it does it 95% of the time doesn’t connect with the wifi. If I actually get both of those to be picked up by the app it freezes and is worthless.
A requirement for the unit I wanted was the ability to use an app with it.
This app fails its customers and it has for months now, leading me to believe the company is doing very little to fix this situation.

  • Can’t connect Wifi on iPhones using iOS 14.

I have an iPhone 6s and a Toguard H85 camera.
Like others have reported, this app simply doesn’t work with iOS 14. I’m able to connect on Bluetooth but in the next step the app will not connect to the camera wifi. Despite already connecting my iPhone wifi directly to the camera wifi (can’t use your home wifi!) the app continues to ask me to connect the phone wifi in my settings to the camera directly and then come back to the app. Tried at least a dozen times and can’t find a go around. I’m going to try the Hunting Camera 4K app and hope the issue has been resolved in that one.

  • Works for me

Despite the warning screen and other people’s problems using this app, it works fine for me: iPhone 12 with iOS 14.4 connecting to a CamPark T80 Trail Camera. You have to go to the phone WiFi settings to connect to the camera’s WiFi once you’ve switched it on using the app. Then you can use the WiFi connection to see a live view from the camera, modify camera settings and download photos and videos.
