Helpful monitoring for water usage, but app needs some enhancements
This app monitors the flume sensor installed on my main water meter down near the street. It was easy to install - simply raps around the meter. No tools, etc.
The app collects data on water usage by the minute continuously. You can go back and look at different periods of time, and compare by the week, day, hour, and down to the minute.
The one big enhancement needed os support for landscape mode on iPad OS. This is not in the current version.
There is also more work needed in the flexibility of data export to a .csv or spreadsheet file. I would like to be able to do this to compare flume reported usage to data from my irrigation controllers and data from my water company.
The system has delivered value for me. It detected a significant leak in my sprinkler plumbing that was wasting a huge amount of water. Repairing and verifying with Flume I have reduced my water usage and bill by about 40%.
