This is the worst app I’ve ever used

There’s no way to sign up for an account after you’ve bought a GetOutPass, once you figure out how to do it on the browser (not even from navigating their website because that link is broken also) if you click edit profile the entire app crashes, and there’s no way to add family members.

Disappointed

This may have been a good idea at one point. Their customer service is now awful, and they change the dates/and even delete certain attractions after you buy the pass. Definitely recommend NOT buying. Also one look at the 5 star reviews and most are influencers making money off selling the pass.

Things to do

This is a fun pass I gave it four stars only because there is a lot north and south of salt lake but not a lot in salt lake county.

Worth every penny!

This was a no-brainer gift for the family for Christmas! Works all year, fills in those weekends where you need something creative to do outside the house. Fun 🤩

Waste of money

This service is a waste of money. Things offered when you sign up suddenly disappear. Also check closely the times available. Some places are only good two week days each week and no weekends. Many of the things offered sound like escape rooms or scavenger hunts but are lame self lead “scavenger hunts” where you take random pictures around town. Super boring. Waste of money.

We have a plan in place that notifies the pass holders if a venue will be taken off. We do our best to have the offers more available for our pass holders and at the same time keeping our business partners happy.

Requires planning as many weekday only and far away

In theory it is a great deal and they list a ton of places. Updating as we have experienced some great new venues and really happy overall.

Major caveat, upon checking many places have very limited midweek only eligible days. Which makes it very hard to use when the locations are spread out across California - basically you can’t use it for weekend day trips and requires some planning to take advantage of all the interesting activities.

Also some places are not familiar with the pass. So check ahead and call as they may not know the process.
The pass customer service is excellent and they can help make sure the venue knows.

Thank you for the review! We have a plan in place keeping our venues aware they are still on the pass. A lot of that is due to turnover of employees at venues. We are also working hard to have our offers more available and at the same time keeping our venues happy!

Buying the pass on sale it totally worth it… we use it everywhere we go in the state… the customer service is excellent with the built in chat feature as well!

Glitches

Constantly not working in buildings when we try to get into a venue! So frustrating! The people that hosts the venues are often aware of the problem as well. Get it together.
