  • App issues

    Generally happy with the app but when I go to notifications , press the 3 cogs for settings and I get app crashes and kicks me out . I have deleted and reinstalled but this issue is still there
  • It’s fine

    The system is very good, it’s been installed 2 years. The only problems I have generally boil down to my lack of ability to use the system properly 🤷‍♂️
  • No notification

    For some reason it’s stopped sending me alert notifications! Notifications is on and push is on .
    I now only get them through email and that takes a while to come through. Zip notifications were instant . All the settings are set to receive .
  • Not intuitive

    Had cameras installed today, can’t access the camera settings to disable the built in floodlights so have had lights burning all night. Not user friendly. Have a Ring floodlight on the garage that worked perfectly out the box without any hassle. Interface needs simplifying
  • Problems connecting app to device

    I’ve spent two days exchanging emails with the service centre trying to resolve the issue of connecting the app to my DVR…..still no solution. The app is not intuitive and there is no troubleshooting data. Very disappointing as I am unable to monitor my cameras from my phone.

  • Zip app awesome

    I use the zip app to monitor my Mothers internal & external cameras purchased from System Q cctv ( The only people to buy your cctv and associated equipment from ) Mum has Parkinson’s & Dementia so it was important to me to have reliable equipment installed. To date this equipment hasn’t let me or my Mother down. System Q and Zip software a perfect match keep up the amazing work..

  • Shocking awful software

    The current app update does not allow the viewing footage previous to the current date. I can only see from midnight on the same day. Has worked fine previously, but stopped working. The design of the app is poor and not always self explanatory.

    In the app in playback, select the "settings - cog" at the top right then de-select (slide to the left) the Synchronous playback option. Once done you can then playback any days footage. There is a help guide built into the app, click the menu (top left) then select help if you're struggling. If you have any further questions please contact us support@softcctv.com.   • Bug report

    I would like to report a bug in the zip vision pro v2 phone app. In Remote Settings-Motion-Area Settings, after selecting the areas covered there is no way to save the setting and go back without shutting down the app, the settings then being lost. Any chance of an update to rectify this? (iphone 12 ios16.1.1)

    We will look to provide an update to the iOS as soon as we can. In the meantime you can use the DVR and monitor direct to set the Motion settings (much easier to configure using a mouse) and also via the android app, or zipvision windows client software.

    Every couple of weeks the remote playback using app just has spinning disc, I can fix by rebooting the zip recorder but this is annoying and could cause us to miss an intruder as we rely on app.

    Hi, thanks for your feedback. When it comes to viewing the CCTV images if you rotate your phone to landscape then you should be able to view the images with full screen.   • Slow

    This takes way too long to load it always says offline & can take Minutes to load by that time whatever you wanted to look at has goneif your offered this by your tradsman tell them you dont want it

    Please ensure you don't "force close" the app after use, as this will slow the connection to the recorder the next time you open the app.
