Reviews of Yotta

  • Scam!! FAKE REVIEWS

I’ve been with this so called bank since graham stephen endorsed it. Was a great app at first and really help save but then they started coming out with “games” that are more like gambling!!! Including 21, roulette and others. They don’t even give you APY anymore everything is through gambling. They’ve become something else than what they originally started as. They’ve gone as far as freezing ALL account and won’t give access to peoples money. All they’re doing about it is plying the blame game and won’t actually admit anything. Everyone’s account is frozen DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS. They’ve even started doing FAKE REVIEWS on the App Store. These review even say they’re getting free money. They’re 5 stars with no context especially on what’s going on right now with this gambling app. It’s not a game app it was advertised as a BANK a FDIC INSURED one at that. Turns out they lied and are holding people’s money. The fake reviews are diluting the REAL ONES the ones that people are asking about withdraws. PLEASE STAY AWAY AND IF YOURE LEAVING GOOD REVIEWS WOOOOW YOURE A SELL OUT!!
  • It’s a scam

Just don't do it. They make it SUPER simple to add money from your bank to their app, but make you jump through hoops to withdraw even your original amount. It's been nearly a year of me trying to get my money back out & it's been such a pain. Their
    "customer service" always blames their
"banking partner" and always seems perplexed as to why it's not working and they say they'll get back to you once they get back from said banking partner, but it never happens. I q's trying to withdraw $100. Such a small amount for them. And I kept getting a message saying my daily withdrawal limit was $10k. Okay, cool, I'm well under that so let me withdraw. But it won't let you. It makes no sense. None of my info changed. I'm withdrawing to the same account I added the money from. So why does it matter what their "banking partner" says?!? I'm so over them. If you look up reviews online (BBB too), you'll realize they're just full of excuses and zero answers. They just want you to deposit money & keep it stuck there hoping you'll forget about it. And in that year wanna know what I "earned"? $1.30! Ha! Just don't do it. Soooo not worth it.
  • Yotta Imploded, Money Locked Up

I’m really surprised this app hasn’t been review bombed yet. This company’s in seriously hot water. Edit: Oh, i see. They’re trying to balance them out with clearly fake reviews.

The positive reviews fall into 2 categories:

old reviews from when this started as a good app, years ago.
Fake reviews from Yotta claiming things about the app that are no longer (and in some cases never were) true, which if you dig just a little you can easily find out are not true.
New people, don’t download this. Why?

To make a long story of disastrous developments short, Yotta has become so bad that even they acknowledged that there was no longer good reason to continue with them and suggested pulling out funds, but you CAN’T now. Almost half of all i own is in this app’s account, and i can’t take it out. A week after trying to withdraw my funds and it endlessly saying “processing”, i reached out to support and they basically said there’s nothing they can do but that we should complain to Evolve Bank, which they rely on for the actual banking and accounts, who they keep putting all the responsibility on.

Yotta’s a great example of why we shouldn’t keep all our eggs in 1 basket. I really hope i can manage to get all my money eventually tho… 😐

As it’s looking now, it really does appear that Yotta may have been an actual scam. People need their money. This is not okay.
