ionKhaleej is the first OTT app in the ion applications family, and is serving selected channels focusing on the Gulf community while catering to its growing need to contents matching its privacy, interests, culture and lifestyle media and are easily accessible via ionKhaleej application weather it is a Live TV Channel, Radio, online streaming channels or video on demand. ionKhaleej OTT offers an End-to-End OTT platform for TV Broadcasters to enable the DTH stream to be published through internet and to be viewed through different mobile applications and through Web Browsers.With the concept of having selected TV channels for targeted audiences sharing the same culture and interest, Gulfsat have created the “ion” concept which represent the following: “Ion” basically is a concept of having an eye on a certain community which is represented with the “i” letter. Also, it represents “I” as I’m focusing and watching this community. “Khaleej, Others ….” Which is the second part of the name, represents the community and audience that is targeted with this application providing contents that matches their taste. The logo with the “Eye” shape included, represents the above two points as well.
