Gluten Dude Is A Godsend!
I have followed the Gluten Dude for many years and have been using the app for travel a lot. The Let’s Fly section is super helpful for airports as that is always a challenge. I traveled to Philadelphia recently and was thrilled with all the available suggestions throughout the city. I especially appreciate the different review levels - 100% GF, Dude Vetted and User Suggested as they provide added comfort with recommendations that I don’t always feel like I can count on when using some of the other gluten free dining apps or searching online. The Gluten Dude app is absolutely worth it and wouldn’t want to travel without it!

Worth It!
The Gluten Dude app is fantastic! It is so helpful when I am travelling to find celiac safe options to eat at all in one place. The Gluten Dude is an amazing champion of the celiac community and is always looking for ways to improve information in the app.
International travel
Useful app. for foreign countries especially when there is a language barrier. Celiac travel cards are helpful too. I’m using in Europe right now. Also very good for airports where GF food can be hard to find. Thank you Gluten Dude!
So helpful for celiacs
A great app to help finding food quickly and easily. You can also suggest restaurants to be added if you know of some that aren’t already listed, so it’s like a group effort to make the GF diet easier.

A must-have for celiacs
Gluten Dude's app is an incredible resource for anyone with celiac disease. It offers so much information, along with user-friendly maps that highlight gluten-free restaurants, all personally vetted by Gluten Dude to ensure they’re safe for the community. The amount of care and dedication that went into this app is evident, and it’s clear Gluten Dude has poured his heart into making it as helpful as possible. Great for planning trips
I do OK when I’m in my own city navigating my way but when I’m planning a trip, I like to know where I should start and that’s why I like this app so much It’s like a a map for us GF’ers!!

So Much Valuable Info Within One App!!
This app is developed by an actual Celiac who cares about his community. Not only did he see a need and creatively fulfill it, but he is actively participates by asking for feedback, being available for questions, offering info on his FB page, and personally vetting restaurants. I love the vetting notes feature that tells you the restaurant’s practices. Gives me extra peace of mind and saves me from embarrassingly over explaining and grilling the waitstaff (even though in most cases they don’t mind and are happy to help). Other apps allow anyone with a wide variety of gluten intolerance and knowledge post whatever they want and the info may or may not be reliable or work for celiac. With GD, users post a suggestion and it is t posted until it’s been reviewed and/or vetted. On a recent road trip the map view was a life saver. I was able to pull it up and see what places where coming down the road and how long until the next safe place to eat. Gluten Dude also helped me find a great spot to eat near a hotel where we wanted to stop for the night. I couldn’t have pulled off my first road trip post diagnosis without this app! Finally- loving the feature that labels/organizes establishments as totally gluten free, recommended, etc. Seriously- try it out!!!

We do indeed vet every single restaurant that is suggested to us. Is it time consuming? Heck yeah. Is it worth it? Absolutely.
Well worth it
My family has three members who have Celiac disease. Having a go to resource offers peace of mind especially when travelling. Also another great way to support the businesses that recognize the needs of those with Celiac. The app is very clear on which are strictly GF. The airport option is a great one as well.
