App Crashes

Was great while it was working. Not sure what happened but now it’s constantly crashing on both iPhone and iPad.

No split screen functionality

I wanted to use this app on my iPad pro to help with drawing, but unfortunately, it doesn’t work with the split screen function that I so heavily rely on. If they added compatibility with this function to a future update I would probably reconsider my review.

Can’t use on older iPad. :(

I love the idea and it seems to work ok on my iPhone, but it won’t even download onto my iPad is only iOS 12.4.6. :/ I don’t plan on having an iPhone forever so unless I get a newer iPad, I won’t be able to use the app.

App crashes the moment I click it open

It worked amazing when I first downloaded it. But now that I need to use it today, the app crashes when I click it open. A few seconds of grayish screen then it dies.

UPDATE: I deleted the app and reinstalled. It doesn’t crash anymore, but the data on there was lost. (I don’t mind since I only had one file, but maybe adding a cloud/save on phone for saving options might be a good ide)

Great app with lots of potential

I’ve started using this app and it’s perfect for the artist on the go. I’m pretty sure it’s made by the same group that created PureRef, but I could be wrong on that. The app has a great feature that allows you to organize different categories of images. And within each of these has tools that are pretty intuitive. It handles images and gifs very well. And gifs play continuously in the app. My only complaint is that the copy link option doesn’t work for other apps on my phone. Pinterest and instagram as examples, or at least I don’t think it does. However, the copy link option brings in high res quality images from Google images, so I can’t complain to much. The app is still in early development and I’m hoping that this could be implemented in the future. For about $2 the app is well worth the price.

This is super intuitive

One of my biggest frustrations with apps are bad ux that you need to look up how to do things. Everything in this app that you think should work a certain way does. You hit the ground running with this app. It's easy, it's got great features, and if you draw on the iPad or work in the industry like me it's an amazing app to have and totally worth the low price. Can't recommend it enough.

Bug Issues

When I started to press on the app today, it would only bug out. Which not allowing me to enter and use references at all.

Amazing reference board app for artists!

This is everything I’ve ever wanted in a reference board app! You can collect and organize all your images with customizable art boards and there’s even animated gif support! I’ve been using this app to help create my illustrations and it’s been an incredible tool. VizRef works great alongside Procreate and other drawing programs! I highly recommend it for art hobbyists, students, and industry professionals!

Finally!!!

For years artists have been looking for a tool like this on mobile! The developer is a professional concept artist and listens to feedback from artists to implement new features. This tool is off to a great start and will aid both digital and traditional artists.
