They did the same to me as well. Took about £87.99 off me just like that and weren’t even using the app.
I wish I can get my money back as there are no fictional novels and hardly enough non-fiction. It’s certainly not worth the money. I feel robbed.

Made the rookie error of signing up for a free trial and letting it run on to a full membership. Full membership at the time was advertised as $89.99 (USD). They charged me £87.99 (GBP) annual membership! In what parallel universe does such an exchange rate exist??
What cowboys. They then advertised a LIFETIME membership for $44.99. I got in touch with the company who in a very mercenary way announced that they charge what they charge and trial period was done etc. So sacrificing customer satisfaction (a grossly overcharged customer) for a few immediate bucks. What an awful company policy.
Don’t bother with this. I’ve now realised Blinkist is a far better service, better priced, with nicely voiced summaries, excellent and ample book selection. And a really great iPad app along with iPhone. Why give your money to a money grabbing company, contemptuous towards paying customers, when a far superior rival exists that deserves your money far more? Vote with your dollars folks and let the companies survive that value their customers.

Claims free insights and books. Before anything else it requests you sign up for a membership and if you don't y give you nothing. Free 3 day trial only if you register for an $8 usd a week membership.
